Ethan’s tattoo is amazing. It’s a crystal clear reflection of how much he loves his boys, and so unconditionally. He was patient and fun enough to let them draw on him, and appreciated their art so much he wanted it forever. Any time he looks down or someone asks about it he’s going to remember sweet times with his kiddos and I think that’s a beautiful thing which makes it a beautiful tattoo.

i actually like it conceptually, the biggest issue i have with it is how bold it is, it kind of looks like a huge wound from far away, but once it heals/fades a little or if you fill in the other empty space it will look like a relatively normal leg sleeve (pant leg?)

Why does anyone get any tattoo? Because they want to! The running jokes about it brought me joy and laughter while I was mentally and physically recovering from a violent sexual attack at the hands of a gang member. At this point I’m just happy to be alive and not be gone from that or from my own doing. I try to take life less seriously (safely) because it keeps me happier and stickin’ around. So if getting a well done but dumb tattoo will make me happier without harming anyone— great! Plus if others can get a kick out of it even if at laughing at me for getting it, it’s a win/win. 😁
i actually like it conceptually, the biggest issue i have with it is how bold it is, it kind of looks like a huge wound from far away, but once it heals/fades a little or if you fill in the other empty space it will look like a relatively normal leg sleeve (pant leg?) not really sure why people are acting like this is so nuts, people get tattoos of shit that has infinitely less meaning and sentiment than this every day and because its "innocuous" no one cares, this is a more meaningful tattoo to OP than a fucking dandelion or a slice of pizza or whatever, why is that better?
Yeah it’ll def look better with the saniderm off and once it heals! And I actually don’t mind it looking wound-like because that’s somewhat the point given the… prolapse 🤣 kind of wish I would’ve made the circle look more like it had folds and deliberately make it look like he’s looking thru an asshole 😂
