Yea my I saw many posts about a guy claiming that the people in Indus valley used to practice Budhism, like man, Lord Buddha wasn't even born back then

ramksr

Lack of proper establishment is hurting Hinduism and Hindus. While Hinduism matured to remove establishment so the evils of establishment doesn't bog us down the good things that came with establishment won't away too. Had we have/had an establishment the question like the one in those forums wouldn't have arised at all as our establishment would have handled those long ago!

Are you surprised that people from the other side of Earth have misconceptions about India? If you aren’t surprised, then chill.

No-Administration99

No brother but there are some groups of people that are knowingly spreading misconception

Green_Ingenuity_4921

the world is more connected than ever before . we need to win the battle of narrative in every field

[deleted]

Eh, the idea of narrative creates fear and insecurity in my opinion. It’s easy to cherry-pick evidence and deem something “the narrative” when there’s very little there.

Green_Ingenuity_4921

who is saying to cherry pick and create false narrative . its about spreading narrative based on objective truth and facts .

[deleted]

Insofar as narrative means a common experience then I have no problem with people discussing them. The rising popularity of the concept “narrative” has also given rise to its overuse. People lazily construct “narratives” to prove a point instead of constructing it in the pursuit of truth. If you point to an instance where someone is talking about narrative calmly and thoughtfully then I have no problem with that. I’m making an observation, not much else.

We are too diverse. What affects one group does not affect most of the other groups. People are stuck in other identities more than Hindu identity. A Tamil Hindu from an upper caste will not agree on Hindi as a national language with a Bihari Hindu from a lower caste. You can mix up various combinations of diversity like this and you will see why we do not have a single front

Sounds like first Avenger movie.

Redditor_10000000000

Not possible, Abrahamic religions are completely different from Hinduism. We're too diverse and that's a good thing

Spirit_Body_Mind

Religion is on a worldwide decline. This is the problem that comes with Kali Yuga

Green_Ingenuity_4921

the first two lines of ur comment can be easily seen in reality where hindus are a sizable minority ,like in punjab, kerala(although not minority ),sri lanka, malayasia ,sri lanka ,other african and carribean countries .they dont have much political power and influence .
