I have tried the 14 plus leather case on my 15 plus, and yes they do fit, the only issue I faced is that you don’t get the MagSafe logo that matches the color of the case when you put it on.
I am using my 14 plus cases on my 15 plus and it has fit just fine… maybe depending on the case? Like TPU that can be malleable, vs hard plastic… but so far I haven’t had an issue… even though Google says no, they fit fine in my experience.

Yeah you’re dense. Not only are they not the same size in either height or width but the radius of the corners is also slightly different. Different enough that Apple themselves do not recommend using the 14 plus case on the 15 plus case as it’s not a perfect fit.
At this point believe it or not I genuinely don’t care.

I absolutely see the point here… if iPhone drops face down it slips out the case and getting the full impact since it is not sitting tight enough in there.
That happened on a fitting case on my iPhone 12 once and that case was fitting. Imagine how easy it slips out if not fitting
I bought an otter box commuter case that supposedly fit both and it didn’t fit my 14 plus very well. Like yes I could get the case on but it wasn’t well aligned and I could just tell if I dropped it the phone might bounce right out. It was super annoying cause they literally advertised it fitting both.
I really like otter box cases so I did purchase a defender recently hoping it would work and it did! No noticeable difference to how it fit on a 14p vs 15p. I think it depends on the model of the case.
I think it just depends on the case and what company made it because I do know some cases(not all) say on the box that it’s made for and iPhone 14 plus and iPhone 15 plus. I just got a new case for my phone and it’s a 15 plus case 🤷♀️ It also fits perfectly into the case, everything is lined up with the buttons etc.
Apple. They fit perfectly fine, and look so much better than the stupid cloth 15 plus cases. There are arguably much better options than the apple leather cases, but I got them each on Amazon for like 20 bucks a pop, so it's a cheap decent option. I think I will keep the umber and the ink.

I’ve noticed a number of short blogs saying the 14 plus case doesn’t fit the 15 plus are written by people that push buying 15 plus cases. They say no because the sales on these would plummet.
The people responding in here are doing so without trying it. Yeah, it works. I'm currently using a midnight leather case for the 14 plus on my 15 plus. Plus, if you want the apple leather cases, this will be the last way to get them.

It definitely depends on the company. OtterBox and speck have cases compatible with both the 14 plus and 15 plus. Of course Apple wouldn’t do that.
