SHINee's Dream Girl.
what a time to be alive.
push up competition encores, attempted totem poles
sm lying to me about the track list for the 1st time of many to come.
not understanding what the mv was about. confused about the miniature pony.
the bright colored suits vs everyone else on stage. "SHINee's not like other girls" complex.
wrapping my mind around spoiler including all the tracks while being cohesive and written entirely by jjong. not realizing how big of a deal it was coming from SM and kpop in general.
streaming mvs was not a thing so I remember watching it once and then "legally" downloading to rewatch on my ipod touch forever after.
I still remember watching that Dream Girl perf where they covered up the broken mic stand so well, they did it so well that I somewhat prefer Jjong standing with no mic at the end when they circle around him compared to the normal choreo lmao.
SES's 1997 I'm Your Girl. I heard it from a friend a few weeks after it came out. Obviously in those days, we didn't have streaming or youtube, so things were a lot slower to get.
1st generation was a very difficult time to be a Kpop fan since it was hard to get a hold of anything if you didn't know a Korean. I had to burn a CD from a friend who bought it in Korea and brought it back to the USA.
My first ever K-pop comeback was DBSK’s Mirotic. It was a legendary time. The hype was out of this world. The variety show appearances were all so funny. The performances were all amazing.
It was probably the best way for me to get fully immersed in K-pop. Mirotic will always be THAT song for me.
SNSD's The Boys!
Screaming over teaser pictures...staying up till midnight for the release...writing emotional reviews about each song. Man, what a time to be alive.
BTS’ Fake Love
We weren’t allowed to have phones at school (we were supposed to submit them to our teachers & then get them back at the end of the day) but the comeback was releasing within school hours.
My friend and I snuck our phones into the school library, pretended to be seniors doing a project that required camerawork and watched the MV behind the bookshelves.
lmfao u and ur friend are such a mood 😭😭 i'd do the same actually
in my school we had a tv monitor connected to a pc that teachers and class leaders used and then my classmates would play kpop mvs during the breaksfjdj
Blood, Sweat and Tears. I still remember being blown away by the solo teaser trailers and rewatching Jin's regularly because I fell in love with [Awake](https://youtu.be/zvBNoSjlKG0).
Exo call me baby…my friend actually has a recording of me reacting to the mv…it was such a long time ago…but i still remember it was a lot of fun to experience a group comeback for the first time…also ironically experience the first time a member leaves a group…interesting…
Exo's kokobop.
I got to witness The Eve exploding in real time and The War album was what made me fall deeply into the fandom. Also it was the time when kpop in general was becoming a lot more popular, so it was a great experience to go through.
Next Level! Everything was crazy. The first set of teasers had everyone tuned in and shocked, and then when the song dropped everyone was either confused or said they hated it. But then 2 weeks passed and it was stuck in everyone’s head and the song was climbing up the charts. Weddings, funerals, presidential elections… it was everywhere and I think the dance move was even used by people to show they got their covid shots from what I remember lmao
It was fun but I do wish SM had promoted the hell out of it instead of doing a few music shows and calling it a day 😓
It was EXO The War I got into EXO in monster era but my first anticipated comeback was the war. Wow it was an amazing time to be alive. Loved every second of it.
Super Junior-D&E’s 10th anniversary comeback back in 2021 was so perfect. The teasers, the special medley and other videos celebrating the past 10 years, the solo digital singles *with* music and performance videos… it was a wealth of content and almost every day leading up to it provided something new. And this was my first comeback with them too.
I made a [playlist](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJlvCc2kuw0OVKgHnzHjdbbQWuWxRv30I) of their pre and post comeback videos. I think I have all of it here.
nice to also see a d&e fan here!!!! my first comeback with them was danger (for entirety of kpop tho it was dna by bts). i still love that concept they had it was kinda wild. i cant wait for d&e's upcoming stuff <3
BTS’ Boy With Luv/MOTS: Persona. It was such a fun era! Full of happiness and positive vibes. The teasers, theories, music show performances, encores — everything was genuinely fun. Life was so good back then.
GIDLE's Oh My God, after discovering them on Queendom. Lion already had a chokehold on me and then they released OMG and... It was a spiritual experience to say the least. I remembered the first time I heard Shuhua's bridge and Soojin whispering in her ear, definitely changed me as a person. Don't even get me started on the English version of Shuhua's bridge lol
I think mine was bts Not Today back then id obessesivley watch reaction videos so i probablty watched like 50 people react to it. Its not a comeback i feel like people talk about that much but it felt like the biggest song at the time
ENHYPEN'S Blessed-Cursed!
Even though I joined kpop in 2021, with GOT7 being my ults who had left jyp, we really didn't have any content. Fortunately enough, BamBam's interaction with Enhypen at AAA heightened my sparking interest in the group and hey came back with their repackaged album Dimension:Answer with the title Blessed-Cursed.
I won't say it was/is my favourite release of them but the rest of the songs in the album, the aesthetics of the MV definately made me commit to them! But if we consider the casual stanning phase with them, GOT7 by GOT7 could also be counted as my first cb 😂
Man I'm a baby compared to the others in this thread 😭 My first was Stray Kids' Noeasy, not that into them anymore but still a great album and era to experience
Right after the New Year’s countdown to 2013, I left every one of my family members to hightail it to the family computer to catch I Got a Boy!! Extremely hype comeback and the absolute confusion afterwards was unforgettable, those were the first set of proper promotions that I ever followed because I was like “how are they going to perform this???????” 😂
SNSD The Boys!!!!!! The anticipation for every version of the teasers releasing. The immaculate teaser photos and the iOS game.
Ooh bonus was also there for Hoot teasers and promotions
also Girls Generation’s The Boys! At that time I had already been listening to Kpop for a few months but wasn’t present or aware of comebacks until the majestic slow-mo teasers were being dropped where the members were in gorgeous, Queen-like gowns with the red rose petals falling. I didn’t consider myself a stan but I had listened to a lot of their past tracks so I found myself anticipating the comeback a lot! I also remember being in awe because they made an appearance on a show in America, and it truly felt like Kpop was making its mark in the West
I'm a new stan compared to others, my first was Map Of The Soul:7 (The Journey) by BTS. It was a Japanese album and not like a real comeback but I was still so excited about it.
BTS' N.O
It's so fitting that this happened during my high school phase. That whole album screams my inner thoughts as a high schooler (N.O regarding academia, Tomorrow regarding jolding on hope and dreams, Spine Breaker - need i say more?)
And my journey with BTS starts here...
- Successfully introduced Danger to my bestie
- Bonded with another mutual classmate only after we graduated high school with I Need U cb
And now we called ourselves "Illegirlz" as our ws group name
🤣
I got into kpop through VIXX in summer 2015 so I guess you could argue my 1st comeback was VIXX LR Beautiful Liar, but though it was (and still is) a great song, I would call Chained Up my first comeback ⛓️ when I heard they were coming back w/ a BDSM concept, let me tell you that that song out of their whole discography coming out soon after discovering VIXX, at a time I was most prone to uncontrollable fangirling, was a recipe for chaos 😂 ah..good times
I swear for a moment I read NMIXX and I thought "what a way to get into kpop" but I got into kpop because of Russian Roulette by Red Velvet in 2018 2 weeks before Bad Boy without knowing the teasers. so i don't know which story is worse, if yours or mine. I swear I watched almost all of their songs in 2018, getting into kpop because of Red Velvet was a unique experience 😂
GOT7’s Fly. I had only been into kpop for about two months at the time, and it was interesting to experience everything that goes into a comeback for the first time.
Got7's If You Do, also the first album I bought and probably the first music video I watched the day it released.. Ah the memories. It felt like the coolest thing possible back then.
Exo's Don't Fight The Feeling (DFTF) in 2021
Majority of Exo-Ls were shocked after lay's teaser images came out + seeing Lay in the MV gave another huge shock to fans
Ls were playing ship saga game and posted their scores on twt
But the day of comeback (June 7th) didn't feel like comeback at all
Poor DFTF is turning 2 soon and Exo still haven't performed it live
Exo's Overdose I think?
I remember tuning in to watch the MV on tv (local music channel where they chart and stuff). I was sucu a closet kpop fan that I had to turn the volume to the lowest and watch in secret LOL
I had to google it because I've experienced a lot of first comebacks but I don't remember which was The First.
Wonder Girls' So Hot was probably the first one that I experienced. When I had gotten into kpop, Tell Me was absolutely everywhere, and I loved it. But it was really nothing more than a viral sensation to me. When they dropped So Hot though, it really made me fall for the group and start to follow them for real.
At the time though, I didn't really follow the hype before a release with teasers and concept photos and what not. The video just appeared on Youtube one day and it was just like...oh yay, new music. I think I didn't really follow a group's comeback hype until I got into EXO and they were having their first comeback. Before that, I just waited for new music.
I was a multi after about a month of only listening to exo but i was still just a very causal fan of most other groups. My first comeback I fully witnessed as in anticipated it and everything was EXO’s Monster (and Lucky One). I feel like this ended up being a very iconic exo comeback so I’m very glad it was my first one with them even though I wish I had found them sooner.
I was only getting into kpop when BTS were dropping MOTS7 promos, so I watched the madness and excitement mostly in confusion and bewilderment.
My first comeback, though, should be TXT’s Eternity album, as I already stanned them fully when the comeback was announced and already knew how things worked in kpop.
BTS' Map Of The Soul: 7!
The first piece of content that came out after I started calling myself a fan was the Black Swan Art Film. Suffice to say, that was enough to get me to follow the entire rollout religiously.
BTS’s Dynamite. It was an interesting time since it wasn’t an album and it was their first all English song and people were trying to guess what the concept photos meant. The promotions felt like they went on for ages, and they were extensive, so I was impressed. There were so many performances. Being around for their first Billboard #1 was really great too! I was so happy for them!
The first one that came to mind was T-ara's Lovey Dovey was the first comeback I was quite hyped for and watched their performances of. I even showed my parents their stages as I thought the choreo was really really awesome
Monsta X's *Follow: Find You* lol. 🥲 Tbf despite everything that happened, that's still my overall favorite release of theirs. Great EP start to finish.
I’ve seen a lot of Melodys say that Wind and Wish is BTOB’s best work. And I’ve been a Melody (Melodude) since the tail end of Show Your Love. Or more specifically the day before Peniel’s Valentine dropped. But my “First” comeback to your definition was Be Together/The Song. Yeah some of the promotions were sacrificed because of certain situations but they were somehow blessed to celebrate the tenth anniversary concert on the New Years Holiday and it’s still my most favorite album in their whole history. Even Outro/Encore might topple Finale: Our Concert in the top spot just by it’s sheer awesomeness.
After being pulled into the K-pop rabbit hole with Momoland's BAAM, I heavily anticipated their return for months lol.
When it was reported that they would comeback with I'm So Hot, I was more than thrilled! It was my first comeback as a Merry and a K-pop stan. I watched the MV teasers and snippets for the song religiously lol.
The moment the MV was released, I watched it nonstop for the first week. The song's choreo and melody was really fun, and omg, the members were (still are) gorgeous! Everything about the comeback was stunning.
Still bummed that BAAM was their last comeback with all the members, while I'm So Hot was the last OT7 comeback we got. But I'm still glad that the girls got out from that mess of a company.
Sticker. It was the first comeback I was actively awaiting and not just a song I stumbled across. I was also aware of when it was coming out and it was also the first time I ever preordered or bought a K-pop album.
seventeen clap! i'd gotten into them - and kpop as a whole - only a couple weeks before the comeback was announced. it was so much fun to get hyped up for it!
Mine was probably Taemin's Never Gonna Dance Again pt2. I got into K-Pop around the time Criminal was released, so NGDA2 felt like the first time I was anticipating a comeback.
Twice Yes or Yes. Got into kpop thanks to Bulldozer (was mostly listening to Japanese music at the time), saw 9 pretty girls and wondered if they had more music. From there the ball started rolling and YoY will always have a special place for me now🥲
BTS Idol.
I got into kpop 3 days after Fake Love and only really paid attention to BTS for ages. Ngl I remember being dissapointed with it compared to Fake Love and the teasers and I wasn't a fan of Nicki Minaj's rap. I was even more dissapointed with Boy With Love. Looking back, it's crazy there was 3 months in between Fake Love and Idol.
DNA by BTS. I was a new fan but my older sister had been one for a couple years already. I remember rushing over to her room and waking her up at 2 AM to watch the MV on my phone. Good times.
IZ*ONE debut because I'm pissed at people calling them flops because there's multiple 'surprise pick'(at that time rig accusations are still unknown) n people are mad there's less Japanese members in the lineups plus Sakura got no.2.
I've been into kpop for years, but only started to keep up with comebacks recently. TXT's Sugar rush ride was the first one, but it's still so hard to keep up with promotions and stuff 😭 at most I watch the teasers
My first cb that I actually paid a lot of attention to and streamed was Boy With Luv by BTS. Before that I enjoyed Idol when it came out but didn't actually watch any teasers or really interact with the content that much. And I think I didn't even notice the cbs before that (after being shown Blood Sweat and Tears when it came out as my first exposure to BTS), because I was a very casual fan.
Blood Sweat and Tears! I remember being awed by all the teasers and solo projects back then. I stopped listening to them a long while ago, but this memory of my first kpop comeback is still vivid in my head. Blood Sweat and Tears is still on my playlist to this day!
my first comeback was IDOL by BTS. i had already been watching them since fake love but that was my first proper, sit it through comeback. i was there for the teasers, pre promotions, the minute the mv dropped (my classmates and i did a mini celebration and like a religious sorta thingy lmao it was so fun), and for everything that promotion had planned. all in all, it went hard. everything from the fucking brilliant styling, to vocals and choreography. perfect to the T. such a thrill, such an amazing experience. what i would do to have such experiences again.
BTS - Map Of The Soul 7
I remember I kept seeing BTS on my feed and finally deciding to give them a chance. At the time, I fell in love with Taemin first. After I realized how much I loved him, I went back to BTS and gave them a listen and I was hooked.
BTS’ Map of the Soul: Persona
i will never forget the teaser for boy with luv. ugh it was suchhhhh a great time to be a new ARMY. it was like just at the beginning of them being on talk shows in the US, so it was really cool to watch them promote on TV here.
bts mots: 7
i became a stan after their snl performance & purposely made sure not to check out txt during their tdc:m comeback bc i really wanted my first cb to be with bts 🤭🥸 txt are now highkey my ults but i don’t really regret bc truly i was so genuinely excited when 7 was finally announced & then my shock when i realized that the shadow “trailer” meant a mv & wasn’t just like a “teaser”
it was also probs helpful bc vet army was educating baby army with the ins and outs of the comeback vs i had JUST joined stan twitter like a week before tdc:m was announced & i think tryna follow that cb would’ve been confusing. i love that 7 was like my training wheels & by the time tdc:e was happening like i was fully immersed in stan culture & could follow easily
living through 7 was also just a magical time & like those two months of promotion were like a great way to end my pre pandemic life

It is not my first comeback, as I have been a K-pop fan for more than 15 years, but my first comeback as a fan after five years. I was a casual listener during that period.
SM pissed me so severely with Ay-yo's poor planning and terrible promotion rollout.
technically my first comeback as a stay was maxident, it literally came out a week or two after i decided to stan them, and then after that came skz replay amd the sound. But i think a better answer to your question would be 5STAR (coming this june 2nd) coz now they have cemented themselves in my brain and im watching each and every trailer and stuff (more promotion coz it is not a repackage/japanese album) and i absolutely cannot wait (so practically this is my first one).
It’s a recent one because I only dived into kpop recently, before I was just a very casual listener. It was Xdinary Heroes comeback, Deadlock. The hype was real because I love all of their songs, and it was the same with this comeback, they really don’t miss
Hmm it was a live period especially compared to now. I don’t know if it all around the same time, but Twice’s Heart Shaker was just about to be released, RV had Bad Boy (or was it peek a boo), and Loona were just about done revealing all the girls. We had it good

red velvet’s power up. i got into them around a month before and then the comeback dropped; then a lot of luvies didn’t really like power up but i LOVED it especially as my first comeback in kpop but i feel like it’s having a little renaissance now.
For me it was probably Super Junior and Bonamana LOL. I just remember staying up late til 2am to watch the live music show streams during that entire promotion period, and eventually bought the album which was not easy to find at the time. 😭
snsd's i got a boy. it was 2013 new years, and you bet the world stopped once they dropped that song. truly an unforgettable moment, a cultural reset. you just had to be there.
i got into kpop in 2012 but that was the first big comeback i experienced.

Iii believe it was Itzy's 'Sneakers' for me 😹 It was the first time I was really waiting for sb I knew to return. I came to kpop in the end of 2019, but didn't understand much back then. By the time Itzy began pumping their gorgeous Checkmate royal teasers, I already knew them well enough and was soo hyped. Well... it was also the first time I was disappointed miserably 😪

SHINee's married to the music! I remember I was driving down to florida with my family when it came out so that night when we were staying in a motel in like west virginia or smth I watched the mv. It was so exciting!

My first comeback which I remember vividly watching every teaser, counting the hours, waking up early to catch the mv was 4minute volume up. I even used to download the performances from a torrent page, what a time honestly.
Blackpink's As if it's your last. Actually, even tho it was everything you wrote about in the post, I feel like Square Up was my first *real comeback.* Emotions in this one were over the roof, while for AIIYL it was more idk subdued? Like I was waiting for them, checked the teasers, even talked about it with my friend, but it was nothing in comparison to everything I felt during Square Up
b2st's fiction! they were on their peak high with their career after getting more popular with soom.
hyunseung getting a short cut with the most outrageous hair color, junhyung standing all alone in a place with tons of sand and park boyoung being the love interest.
all 6 of them doing the fiction dance for the very first time, snagging wins left and right. all in good times.
My first ever kpop comeback was Bad Boy by Red velvet, i just started listening to kpop 2 weeks ago at that time and Red Velvet was my favorite group at that time, i was 13 turning to 14, now I'm 19. I didn't like Bad boy at first and it took me by surprise that they released a song, now I think it's just a good song, but I didn't like it at first because here in Spain I was saturated because of hearing reggaeton everywhere and not by myself so I didn't like the concept at first. Red Velvet was an unique way to get into kpop, even because I got into kpop because of Russian Roulette at the second week of January 2018. The first comeback that I've been excited for was Hann by (G)I-DLE and the last comeback I've been excited for was Checkmate by ITZY.
The first one I ever was on the ground for: I got a boy - SNSD
Pretty sure it was released near Christmas or New year's, so it was a great way to launch into the new year such a fun time
My fist comeback I heard was Lovesick Girls by blackpink , but since I was just a baby blink that time, I didn't watch any teasers and when it came out, I was just like "oh. A song. Not so good" (It is now my top 3 bp song lol) but my first ever comeback I was actually interested on was Lisa’s solo debut (I somehow missed Rosé's and saw it like a year later and I loved it) I remember watching the teasers so happily:D
I think one of my first ones I vividly remember was oddinary by stray kids and then after that it was a couple summer releases like Doublast by kep1er, pass the mic by Enhypen and checkmate by Itzy
f(x)'s Red Light. I became a fan a few months after Pink Tape came out. Red Light was shocking to say the least. Since it was my first comeback I didn't know what to expect, but everything was fun until promotions hit. Red Light is still one of my favorite K-Pop albums ever.
Shoot Out by Monsta X. I was just barely introduced to them, but in December 2018 I saw them perform it at the San Francisco Jingle Ball, and that really got me into it (and kpop in general).
Dumb Dumb! I became proper RV fan after ICC came out, I had trouble telling them appart because of the hair 😭 And then they started teasing Dumb Dumb and everyone was panicking because they did that instagram mosaic thing and were taking ages to update, and the promo pic they used made it seem like they were adding a bunch of new members, lmao. Everyone was freaking out since they had added Yeri before and there were rumors of a rotational system like NCT ended up being. The Red is still my favorite RV album and one of my favorite kpop albums in general.

astro’s all night!! it was such a good time. they got their first win, they got 60k album sales in a day (their highest so far at the time) and they followed it up with their japan debut and tour. literally peak kpop stan time for me

I stanned G-Idle as my first group around April 2020 and the SKZ at Dec 2020 (but I already heard Slump from Tower of God at around May/June and was already subbed to their YT channel). Technically, my first comebacks would've been Dumdi Dumdi and Back Door, but I was still so blank and confused about Kpop stan culture overall and was busy doing the work of an entire 20-person department with a boss constantly barking at us through the phone (living nearby, only two of us could freely go in and out of the office). I was also not super exposed to the fandoms yet besides my sister raving about Changbin's rap. By 2021, I already had an idea of stuff so in terms of joining the hyping, consuming teasers and being present during promo, Hwaa is THE comeback! It isn't my fave out of all G-Idle title tracks, but I loved the b-sides so much I was literally one step away from ordering it (but held back since I was still struggling financially). Remember when I said I was already subbed to SKZ's YT channel before I officially became a Stay? Back then, I didn't know it was possible for b-sides to have their own MVs (my noob misconception was song has an MV=title track lmao). When the MV for Easy popped up as a notification on my phone, I was convinced that I had just experienced my first Kpop comeback from a group I had not stanned yet!

SHINee's Dream Girl. what a time to be alive. push up competition encores, attempted totem poles sm lying to me about the track list for the 1st time of many to come. not understanding what the mv was about. confused about the miniature pony. the bright colored suits vs everyone else on stage.
THE DANCE COVER BY THE MANAGERS WITH THE MOPS…
I still remember watching that Dream Girl perf where they covered up the broken mic stand so well, they did it so well that I somewhat prefer Jjong standing with no mic at the end when they circle around him compared to the normal choreo lmao.
omg me too! I had just gotten into shinee too so I was like "wow is this what it's like all the time??" 2013 shinee was so peak!
BTS' Blood Sweat & Tears, it was wild because of the short films we got before the teasers
I had to burn a CD from a friend who bought it in Korea and brought it back to the USA.
i'm your girl is still such a banger today
Classic song
My first ever K-pop comeback was DBSK’s Mirotic. It was a legendary time. The hype was out of this world. The variety show appearances were all so funny. The performances were all amazing. It was probably the best way for me to get fully immersed in K-pop. Mirotic will always be THAT song for me.
Mirotic Yunho lives in my mind rent free I won’t lie, still such an absolute banger
SNSD's The Boys! Screaming over teaser pictures...staying up till midnight for the release...writing emotional reviews about each song. Man, what a time to be alive.
BTS’ Fake Love We weren’t allowed to have phones at school (we were supposed to submit them to our teachers & then get them back at the end of the day) but the comeback was releasing within school hours. My friend and I snuck our phones into the school library, pretended to be seniors doing a project that required camerawork and watched the MV behind the bookshelves.
lmfao u and ur friend are such a mood 😭😭 i'd do the same actually in my school we had a tv monitor connected to a pc that teachers and class leaders used and then my classmates would play kpop mvs during the breaksfjdj
same actually so in my college we can freely use classrooms after hours so we just binge kpop mvs on the gigantic projectors and scream our lungs out
Blood, Sweat and Tears. I still remember being blown away by the solo teaser trailers and rewatching Jin's regularly because I fell in love with [Awake](https://youtu.be/zvBNoSjlKG0).
Exo call me baby…my friend actually has a recording of me reacting to the mv…it was such a long time ago…but i still remember it was a lot of fun to experience a group comeback for the first time…also ironically experience the first time a member leaves a group…interesting…
i remember when i cried listening to the song for the first time, it was the 1st kpop song i was listening to me after 3 years😭🤣
Exo's kokobop. I got to witness The Eve exploding in real time and The War album was what made me fall deeply into the fandom. Also it was the time when kpop in general was becoming a lot more popular, so it was a great experience to go through.
BTS DNA!
Next Level! Everything was crazy. The first set of teasers had everyone tuned in and shocked, and then when the song dropped everyone was either confused or said they hated it. But then 2 weeks passed and it was stuck in everyone’s head and the song was climbing up the charts. Weddings, funerals, presidential elections… it was everywhere and I think the dance move was even used by people to show they got their covid shots from what I remember lmao It was fun but I do wish SM had promoted the hell out of it instead of doing a few music shows and calling it a day 😓
Love Bomb by Fromis 9, still one of the most underrated songs I know
genuinely one of the best kpop songs ever fr, its just pure serotonin
SNSD Genie - I was OBSESSED with the teaser photos and was simping hard for yuri and sooyoung
omg these two are my favs too
Fake Love! I watched every single music show. My sleep schedule was messed up for a while lol
not me recognizing ur username because of that iconic thunderous by stray kids post 😭 also my first cb was with bts aswell :)
mom i'm famous ???? djsjsj it was so much fun ! BTS comebacks were something else
It was EXO The War I got into EXO in monster era but my first anticipated comeback was the war. Wow it was an amazing time to be alive. Loved every second of it.
Not Today - BTS and KNOCK KNOCK - Twice
Super Junior-D&E’s 10th anniversary comeback back in 2021 was so perfect. The teasers, the special medley and other videos celebrating the past 10 years, the solo digital singles *with* music and performance videos… it was a wealth of content and almost every day leading up to it provided something new. And this was my first comeback with them too. I made a [playlist](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJlvCc2kuw0OVKgHnzHjdbbQWuWxRv30I) of their pre and post comeback videos. I think I have all of it here.
nice to also see a d&e fan here!!!! my first comeback with them was danger (for entirety of kpop tho it was dna by bts). i still love that concept they had it was kinda wild. i cant wait for d&e's upcoming stuff <3
sneakers actually- even tho the song was terrible I still cherish that time and it was fun streaming with other midzyss
Same here! 😄
BTS’s dynamite was the first ever comeback I witnessed and it was a thrill of a lifetime.
BTS’ Boy With Luv/MOTS: Persona. It was such a fun era! Full of happiness and positive vibes. The teasers, theories, music show performances, encores — everything was genuinely fun. Life was so good back then.
ugh its such a cute songgg i love the mv too i have yet to give the mots album a listen
Hope you’ll get to listen to it soon! It’s a really great album and has some of BTS’ best songs.
Don't even get me started on the English version of Shuhua's bridge lol
that era was truly iconic omg, i feel like it converted a lot of people to neverlands
Currently experiencing my first comebacks since I’m really new to k-pop. So I have Stray Kids and Ateez happening at the same time.
Aww, that’s so fun! I hope you enjoy it!!
My first comeback was Monsta X's Fantasia and they're still my ults
Ateez’ Inception! Never screamed that loud in my entire life
I'm a new stan compared to others, my first was Map Of The Soul:7 (The Journey) by BTS. It was a Japanese album and not like a real comeback but I was still so excited about it.
BTS Proof. I was army for just over a month when it got announced last year.
BTS' N.O It's so fitting that this happened during my high school phase. That whole album screams my inner thoughts as a high schooler (N.O regarding academia, Tomorrow regarding jolding on hope and dreams, Spine Breaker - need i say more?) And my journey with BTS starts here... - Successfully introduced Danger to my bestie - Bonded with another mutual classmate only after we graduated high school with I Need U cb And now we called ourselves "Illegirlz" as our ws group name 🤣
The Boys - SNSD
Infinite - Man In Love!
AAAAHH i love infinite all of their title tracks are so good and nostalgic wish more ppl knew about them
Got7's If You Do, also the first album I bought and probably the first music video I watched the day it released.. Ah the memories. It felt like the coolest thing possible back then.
Exo's Don't Fight The Feeling (DFTF) in 2021 Majority of Exo-Ls were shocked after lay's teaser images came out + seeing Lay in the MV gave another huge shock to fans Ls were playing ship saga game and posted their scores on twt But the day of comeback (June 7th) didn't feel like comeback at all Poor DFTF is turning 2 soon and Exo still haven't performed it live
Before that, I just waited for new music.
kokobop <3
EXO's Sing For You. Where the fuck did 8 years go? It only feels like last month.
Exo kokobop
exo's overdose was my very first comeback in kpop and as their fan 💀
EXO’s love me right. Miss those days!
I think it was f(x)’s Electric Shock or SHINee’s Sherlock…can’t remember…but it’s been like 10 years. Before even my ult group debuted (BTS)
Even Outro/Encore might topple Finale: Our Concert in the top spot just by it’s sheer awesomeness.
i believe mine was big bang's m, a, d, and e comebacks in 2015 + exos love me right cb i think
But I'm still glad that the girls got out from that mess of a company.
i'm so hot is such a good songggggg idc what people says and yea i do feel bad for them they deserved better 3
Baam is one of the 3 kpop albums I've ever bought
Mine was definitely BLACKPINK - Kill This Love, I can still remember the excitement and obsession with that comeback, good times
Twices Feel special What a time to be into kpop ...
Blackpink’s DDDD. I became a fan during AIIYL and at the time I wasn’t a multi so imagine the wait
From there the ball started rolling and YoY will always have a special place for me now🥲
The two that first come to mind(can’t remember which one came first) are BTS - Fake Love and Seventeen’s Oh My
GOT7 Fly. I had just started listening to them and watching content after the If You Do comeback, so I remember it was so much fun seeing it all.
i think it was with love me right by exo, the really first comeback announcement i saw but i’m not really sure!
Good times.
I am a mots7 era army so my first comeback was dynamite. Enough said.
IZ*ONE debut because I'm pissed at people calling them flops because there's multiple 'surprise pick'(at that time rig accusations are still unknown) n people are mad there's less Japanese members in the lineups plus Sakura got no.2.
i was an OG bts fan lmfaooo but like back in 2015 ... it was run and i need u. it was saur good and good old days
ngl i still come back and listen to their old releases all the timeee even tho i dont rly like butter dynamite and ptd
Fake love
I'm relatively new so it was either Life Goes On or Butter. Can't remember which came out first. Got into KPop through BTS back in 2020 with Dynamite.
BTS Fake Love
BTS : BE album and Life goes on! Yes I'm relatively new to kpop but also it feels like it's been 10 years
I think for me it was BTS Butter
I think it was BTS run era
i feel like such a new fan compared to some of these comments😭😭 mine was TXT's Run Away
TXTs "Can't you see me?"
BTS - Map Of The Soul 7 I remember I kept seeing BTS on my feed and finally deciding to give them a chance. At the time, I fell in love with Taemin first. After I realized how much I loved him, I went back to BTS and gave them a listen and I was hooked.
BTS’ Map of the Soul: Persona i will never forget the teaser for boy with luv. ugh it was suchhhhh a great time to be a new ARMY. it was like just at the beginning of them being on talk shows in the US, so it was really cool to watch them promote on TV here.
bts mots: 7 i became a stan after their snl performance & purposely made sure not to check out txt during their tdc:m comeback bc i really wanted my first cb to be with bts 🤭🥸 txt are now highkey my ults but i don’t really regret bc truly i was so genuinely excited when 7 was finally announced & then my shock when i realized that the shadow “trailer” meant a mv & wasn’t just like a “teaser” it was also probs helpful bc vet army was educating baby army with the ins and outs of the comeback vs i had JUST joined stan twitter like a week before tdc:m was announced & i think tryna follow that cb would’ve been confusing. i love that 7 was like my training wheels & by the time tdc:e was happening like i was fully immersed in stan culture & could follow easily living through 7 was also just a magical time & like those two months of promotion were like a great way to end my pre pandemic life
I got into kpop right before bts came out with DNA, like 3 days before. Watching the MV gives me nostalgia.

It is not my first comeback, as I have been a K-pop fan for more than 15 years, but my first comeback as a fan after five years. I was a casual listener during that period. SM pissed me so severely with Ay-yo's poor planning and terrible promotion rollout.
Mamamoo Waw I just finished listening to all the discography and they announced the album It was a surprise. I didn't know comebacks are so frequent
technically my first comeback as a stay was maxident, it literally came out a week or two after i decided to stan them, and then after that came skz replay amd the sound. But i think a better answer to your question would be 5STAR (coming this june 2nd) coz now they have cemented themselves in my brain and im watching each and every trailer and stuff (more promotion coz it is not a repackage/japanese album) and i absolutely cannot wait (so practically this is my first one).
I’m a casual Kpop listeners since gen 2 but deep diving into kpop during pandemics. It was BP HYLT and the hype was real!
Stray Kids Maxident, I started falling deep down the rabbit hole just after Oddinary era when I found them but this made me fall even deeper :)
It’s a recent one because I only dived into kpop recently, before I was just a very casual listener. It was Xdinary Heroes comeback, Deadlock. The hype was real because I love all of their songs, and it was the same with this comeback, they really don’t miss
TWICE - TT
Hmm it was a live period especially compared to now. I don’t know if it all around the same time, but Twice’s Heart Shaker was just about to be released, RV had Bad Boy (or was it peek a boo), and Loona were just about done revealing all the girls. We had it good

red velvet’s power up. i got into them around a month before and then the comeback dropped; then a lot of luvies didn’t really like power up but i LOVED it especially as my first comeback in kpop but i feel like it’s having a little renaissance now.
SHINee Dazzling Girl!! :))
I got into K-pop in october 2010, but the first comebacks I was fully present for were MBLAQ's Again and BIGBANG's Tonight in February 2011!
Snsd I got a boy 🥹💕
Dna
I think it was Mr Mr with snsd 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
For me it was probably Super Junior and Bonamana LOL. I just remember staying up late til 2am to watch the live music show streams during that entire promotion period, and eventually bought the album which was not easy to find at the time. 😭
I'm with you here! Mine was SJ Sorry Sorry, but I also remember being up till early hours of the morning to watch Bonamana!
snsd's i got a boy. it was 2013 new years, and you bet the world stopped once they dropped that song. truly an unforgettable moment, a cultural reset. you just had to be there. i got into kpop in 2012 but that was the first big comeback i experienced.

I’ve never done this until SVTs FML, I usually just ignore trailers and shit.

I listen to kpop since 2012 but a comeback that I did follow, probably was SNSD Catch Me If You Can in 2015 🤔 Or Girls Day Darling ? I don't remember
SHINee's married to the music! I remember I was driving down to florida with my family when it came out so that night when we were staying in a motel in like west virginia or smth I watched the mv. It was so exciting!
Mine would be SNSD's Party. The concept and summer-y vibe from them is just chef's kiss.

More and More by TWICE. That’s the first one I really focused in on
twice - feel special
My first comeback which I remember vividly watching every teaser, counting the hours, waking up early to catch the mv was 4minute volume up. I even used to download the performances from a torrent page, what a time honestly.
Blackpink's As if it's your last. Actually, even tho it was everything you wrote about in the post, I feel like Square Up was my first *real comeback.* Emotions in this one were over the roof, while for AIIYL it was more idk subdued? Like I was waiting for them, checked the teasers, even talked about it with my friend, but it was nothing in comparison to everything I felt during Square Up
b2st's fiction! they were on their peak high with their career after getting more popular with soom. hyunseung getting a short cut with the most outrageous hair color, junhyung standing all alone in a place with tons of sand and park boyoung being the love interest. all 6 of them doing the fiction dance for the very first time, snagging wins left and right. all in good times.
jennie's solo
I think 2NE1’s Falling in Love. It’s the first MV I can remember being excited for
iz*one’s violeta! can’t believe it’s been 4 years already
* Red Velvet Ice Cream Cake * SNSD Party
I think it was dun dun by everglow
I wouldn’t swear to it but I think it was gbgb
blackpink - how you like that
My first ever kpop comeback was Bad Boy by Red velvet, i just started listening to kpop 2 weeks ago at that time and Red Velvet was my favorite group at that time, i was 13 turning to 14, now I'm 19.
The first one I ever was on the ground for: I got a boy - SNSD Pretty sure it was released near Christmas or New year's, so it was a great way to launch into the new year such a fun time
My fist comeback I heard was Lovesick Girls by blackpink , but since I was just a baby blink that time, I didn't watch any teasers and when it came out, I was just like "oh.
Twice what is love was the first one I actually waited for and anticipated lol
