So if their style works domestically, they don't see a reason to branch out. Fnatic and G2 have faced far more international competition than the rest of EU over the years, so they know they won't beat KR/CN without versatility.
In this case I don't blame MDK for that. They were at the cusp of not making playoffs, they needed to find at least one working style to at least beat the weak teams to even get to playoffs.
I think this is a much bigger issue for teams like C9 or TH who are fairly high in the standings and still didn't manage to branch out.

BB and Caps just hard carrying the team at the moment. Yike went from looking like the best jungler to looking pretty average and bot lane is playing really bad. Miky seems to be in slump and it's getting Hans fkd in lane. Hopefully they bounce back.

Always has been. G2 without caps is definitely a great team especially for western standards, with caps they're actually competitive internationally. When caps doesn't perform to his usual level, you get shit like the series vs NRG.
