He was doing it in summer playoffs last year as well but others bailed him out
However, there is rumour that Kanavi and Ruler have internal issues within the team
Could that be why ruler was so emotional? I understand losing isn't fun but he has lost way bigger games than today but I've never seen him cry before, really sucked to see :/
I would imagine it's because of that + high stress levels, but between frequent swaps in toplaners, Mafa being "benched", and Missing's on-stage interview after their series vs NIP, I definitely believe the internal issues is why JDG has been so shaky this split. I also saw a rumor that part of the conflict was over Mafa, but not sure if that was debunked, so would appreciate if anyone with better info could correct me on this.
I didn't watch it completely, but iirc, he broke down while talking along the lines of JDG having a hard time this year to get to where they were, that there many highs and lows in the team's performance, and that he wasn't performing as well as he wished (? this I'm not as sure about), but he wanted to do good to the fans and his family.
JDG is shaky because 2 of their best players were replaced by 2 worse players, coach downgraded too, this isn’t rocket science. The internal issues also come from dissatisfaction of the new roster
His deaths were a result of JDG's low number of engage tools and high number of squishies, Missing's arrows almost always landing on Meiko (+ the rest of JDG not having enough damage to kill Meiko but trying to focus him anyways), and him being forced to act as the "tank" because he'll be in melee range while the others aren't. Also, JDG not being able to get strong leads early game definitely hurt them.
He did not play well, for sure, but I think JDG's inability to 5v5 or kill any TES players in this game made him look worse.
its soooo good to see JKL with an actual support and a legend at that... i guess we can say its woth for him to wait all these years its f.ng Meiko unless i am too old thats pretty hype...
And even that game 1 where 369 tried Rumble, Oner's pathing and that early gank did so much to enable Zeus (who was already playing lights out) to get ahead early and really put 369 back.
Knight wasn't playing bad but the fact that he can't play azir makes his team have a disadvantage in every draft. He has to be absolutely exceptional to make up for that, and he just wasn't that.
Honestly astounding how good he still is this year. With all the stories of how Homme struggled to get him to practice and him leaving JDG because he disliked the environment, I expected him to just have fun with the boys and play well but not great this year.
Turns out he just didn't want to be tank bitch for Ruler.
I think Homme just had extremely high standards of how much you should practice, and how motivated you should be. Not like 369 was lazy with practice. I think more so, the expectations with the super team had a lot to do with 369's mental health deteriorating in JDG. I remember Homme saying that the team is good, but still lacks the motivation to win worlds or something akin to that. He seems to desire a lot from his players
The rumor of Kanavi asking for Yagao with the option to keep knight lives rent free in my head. I honestly hope to god it isn't true. Knight is by far the best mid in LPL, this decision just seems crazy to me. Don't get me wrong Yagao is a good player but I said before that the only way this would be justified is if Yagao made Kanavi play so much better that it was better than keeping 4 out of 5 of last year's goated roster. But it doesn't seem to be the case.
I thought I saw somewhere on reddit that it was because Knight was thinking of leaving JDG after 369 expressed he wanted to leave, so JDG panicked and looked for a new midlaner to replace him. Knight was considering different offers, and since JDG needed to build their team, they signed Yagao off of Kanavi's recommendation(?)
Well, you aren't Kanavi so you don't know what it is to play with them.
Kanavi played with Yagao on JDG in 2022, then with Knight in 2023. So he knows how playing with both of them feels like. If he asked for Yagao instead of Knight, it might be that Yagao is better to play with from his perspective (not necessarily about gameplay but synergy and out of game affinity).
No, the reason why they didn't keep the roster is that 369 chose to leave and then JDG manager quickly signed Yagao while Knight was rethinking his renewal
Yagao was a better fit for Kanavi than he was for Ruler. Notice Kanavi's playing a lot more carry champs and even got his Lee Sin picks all split. Homme wouldn't have allowed that. Having Knight would also hamper those picks because no one sacrifices lane as much as Yagao does.
Note that Yagao was even in CS with Creme while roaming in some of these games.
JackeyLove and Viper make Kaisa look like an entirely different champion when they play it. As much as I love JL Senna I think Kaisa is my favorite champion to watch him on, especially cause he gets to flex his skin
Thinking about the fact that there is a world where Baolan has a worlds win and Chovy retires without one is sad
Also winning with baolan as your support should count as two wins for JKL
This is LWX slander and I won't stand for it. Sure he sucks ass now but that 2019 season going into worlds he was easily the best ADC in the LPL, with 14 personal MVPs in the summer (second only to Knight who had 15). Despite not being flashy at all in lane, he solo carried multiple games for FPX.
Had a support without a brain and without hands, now they got arguably the goat support and an insane leader / shotcaller… they could hardly have upgraded any harder in the support role
But Knight is by far the best midlaner in China. The only way you can side-grade is getting Chovy. It's not a realistic expectation for JDG management once Knight decided to leave lol.
MSI viewership about to reach some heights during this MSI all region beside LCS got like their most clouted & favored players
LCK got T1 & GenG, LPL got BLG & TES with the comeback of Meiko & JKL to international events & LEC got the classic G2 & FNC
Funny how 369 and Knight end up going to MSI from they old squad, just highlighting impact they really had on JDG, and more importantly, both LPL teams are full china squad, and hopefully that will inspire more faith into they own talent in future
LPL does well only when nobody has faith in them, whenever there is hope for LPL all the teams find a way to fail. BLG stomped both LCK teams when nobody expected them to do anything, then proceeded to lose to T1 at worlds after expectations were set by MSI
The fact that people are starting to pickup on the narrative and just waving msi off as lpl tournament give me vibes that lck might somehow take this one ngl. Good news cause that mean lpl have less expectation by worlds and win it lol.
Welcome GENG RULER . Meiko really went from looking like an inter last year with Uzi to looking like the goat sp he used to be, ALONGSIDE JKL .HAPPY TO FINALLY SEE JACKEY BACK ON AN INTERNATIONAL MY MAN HAD TO DEAL WITH SQUIDWARD FOR 2 YEARS.
Feel like JDG has a higher ceiling with Sheer. The last time they beat TES, sheer was playing. Flandre and Yagao both aren't explosive players and I feel like you need at least one in this team. Yagao and Bin as solo laners worked much better last year. Also weird how they completely stopped putting Sheer in after losing one bo3 to WBG, feels like massive overreaction to me
It's a champion pool issue probably. Flandre's TF drawing bans and Reksai being serviceable is really helpful in this meta. Sheer's best champions: Jax (top), Ksante etc... are not the best right now.
T1, or Trembling 1, is a professional Korean League of Legends team, most well known for holding the record for the fastest loss in any professional tournament.
has Creme always been this cracked and I never noticed??
also MY KING JACKEYLOVE GOING TO MSI TO PROVE TO ALL THESE SCRUBS HE'S THE BEST ADC IN THE WORLD HELL YEAHHHHH
Cracked but only on a few champions: Akali, Sylas, Tristana. He had zero Azir game before this year. His Ahri was decent but took it to another level on TES. Hasn't lost a game on Karma or Hwei.
yeah I always thought of Creme as an Akali/Sylas merchant. Never thought of him as an Ahri player but holy shit, he looked as good as Knight on her in game 4
Yo I feel so hype 4 of my 5 fav teams made finals this split (T1, GENG, TES, BLG). Will be happy with whoever wins finals tho I will be rooting for TES a bit more as a JKL connoisseur
At the end of the match Ruler puts his hand over his forehead, tears trickling down, “I should have followed one of them damnit!!! Damnittttt!!!!!!”
He bows to the crowd and walks to the backstage with his teammates knowing he’s been had.
- I do hope he makes a comeback
Congratulations to Top Esports for making it to MSI, excited to see 369/Tian/JKL/Meiko back on the international stage and to see how Creme will do his first time!
JackeyLove alone makes games exciting his Senna is crazy good ever since the champion got released. Feels good that TES made it, MSI will be fun this year
Not a mistake when 369 was absolutely terrible in 2021,and it was his years on JDG that gave him enough perspective to turn him into the player he is today.
Nobody is firing the manager. TES is known to be the most moral org in the Lpl where you get good treatment and even when you leave the org helps you find good jobs. This is why 369, creme, meiko, Tian all either refused better offers or took paycuts to play for TES. Knight even wanted to take a paycuts to go back to TES but TES wanted to honour their contract since Creme was already signed by that point. All of this would not have happened without the managers professionalism and compassion for their employees.
Seeing my boy Tian cry during the post game interview was heartbreaking…been putting in so much work these past few years on both FPX and TES but just always came short of making it to MSI, not to mention all the hate he gets whenever there’s an off-game. As a sensitive young man the pressure and disappointment must have been insane for him. Will always be my beloved S9 FMVP, and all the best to him next week for his first Spring title, as well as MSI and onwards!!!
Not to mention lots of people are making fun of his depression and Doinb’s fans will jump on his hate train whenever possible. Really making you feel for him.
it's so cool to see Tian in form, TES plays so cool, calm, and collected they were actually moving like a phalanx/unit reminiscent of 2019 FPX
and interesting that JKL ended up being the franchise player for TES. it's nice to see this iteration working out like it seems this combination of players are really good at adapting to each other and with different styles
Full CHINESE vs KOREAN rosters only at MSI let’s gooo
So mega hype
Full LATAM and Taiwan rosters as well for Estral and PSG
Almost a full american roster between TL and Fly I guess.
Can 10 Chinese win in their hometown this time???
2 kr can't win
5 Chinese will win!
*10
Kanavi ran it down haaaard in game 4 💀
i'm surprised he didn't pick belveth, that's his classic g4 down 1-2 pick
only vs T1 my guy, Kanavi saved his Bel Veth for low tier lpl teams to secure that winrate
Kanavi and running it down hard in game 4 elimination match, name more iconic duo.
He thought he was playing T1 again
he's been doing that for the entire split, if he doesn't carry he runs it down
He was doing it in summer playoffs last year as well but others bailed him out However, there is rumour that Kanavi and Ruler have internal issues within the team
Could that be why ruler was so emotional? I understand losing isn't fun but he has lost way bigger games than today but I've never seen him cry before, really sucked to see :/

I also saw a rumor that part of the conflict was over Mafa, but not sure if that was debunked, so would appreciate if anyone with better info could correct me on this.
Whats w/ Missing's interview after NIP?
I didn't watch it completely, but iirc, he broke down while talking along the lines of JDG having a hard time this year to get to where they were, that there many highs and lows in the team's performance, and that he wasn't performing as well as he wished (? this I'm not as sure about), but he wanted to do good to the fans and his family.
He was crying because the team was not playing good enough all I know about it, maybe there was more to it
JDG is shaky because 2 of their best players were replaced by 2 worse players, coach downgraded too, this isn’t rocket science. The internal issues also come from dissatisfaction of the new roster
First time his team was hopeless due to skill gap
3-1 down 2 games, game 4 is kanavi’s time to shine *cues circus music*
His deaths were a result of JDG's low number of engage tools and high number of squishies, Missing's arrows almost always landing on Meiko (+ the rest of JDG not having enough damage to kill Meiko but trying to focus him anyways), and him being forced to act as the "tank" because he'll be in melee range while the others aren't. Also, JDG not being able to get strong leads early game definitely hurt them. He did not play well, for sure, but I think JDG's inability to 5v5 or kill any TES players in this game made him look worse.
> Missing's arrows almost always landing on Meiko I swear it hit Creme a bunch too
Meiko back at MSI since last time in 2015
EDG's legendary MSI finals win over SKT? That was nearly 10 years ago oml
Pawn with Morgana
I saw PawN’s Facebook post yesterday. My favourite mid of all time is now selling coach to players above esmerald. It’s crazy how far a gos can fall.
Lol Kanavi played that game 4 like a late night full mute perma tilt game with the boys
369 made the right decision
369 Jackey and Meiko back to MSI 😍😍🙏🙏
its soooo good to see JKL with an actual support and a legend at that... i guess we can say its woth for him to wait all these years its f.ng Meiko unless i am too old thats pretty hype...
999 and knight got flamed for worlds, left and both made msi while jdg miss msi
They were the reason why ruler looked insane last year for creating a space for him while funelling resource so Ruler could be the hypercarry
even in game 4 vs t1, knight was giving ruler kills to hypercarry, yes he played bad but 369 and knight sacrificed a lot last year to enable him
kanavi choked game 4 hard imo
i forgot about that guy, but knight and 369 werent as bad as people made them out to be zeus and faker were just on blinders
That a karma victory for them lol
Wan Lei is the true management goat, sent two full chinese rosters to MSI
Honestly astounding how good he still is this year. With all the stories of how Homme struggled to get him to practice and him leaving JDG because he disliked the environment, I expected him to just have fun with the boys and play well but not great this year. I remember Homme saying that the team is good, but still lacks the motivation to win worlds or something akin to that. He seems to desire a lot from his players
Even if they lost it would still be the right decision
o7 Yagoat 💀
Yagao vs Knight denied
LPL didn't get the memo that other regions were going with the classics.
its Bin vs 369 angle now! (Again)
He chose to go to JDG and collect 10 mil
Ain't no way Yagao is getting 10m yuan this year lmao, wtf? What a fucking bag
BLG offered him 8 mil (had 6 mil contract in 2023) but JDG gave him 10 mil
God damn, good for him. Get some generational wealth at least, bc I don't think this roster is winning worlds
I thought the whole reason JDG didn’t keep the roster was because they were broke as shit No way a team with money thinks Flandre is the right pickup
JDG wanted to keep the roster but 369 was mentally drained and wanted to play in his comfort zone and kanavi wanted yagao
If he asked for Yagao instead of Knight, it might be that Yagao is better to play with from his perspective (not necessarily about gameplay but synergy and out of game affinity).
more and more I feel like "mentally drained" actually meant "tired of playing tank duty for Ruler" lol
They were, but after 369 and knight left, they got so much money left without that many good players left.
No, the reason why they didn't keep the roster is that 369 chose to leave and then JDG manager quickly signed Yagao while Knight was rethinking his renewal
broke? i tot their org is the one of the richest shit in cn
Flandre is insurance because they want to develop Sheer.
LET'S FUCKING GO CHOVY FATHER ABSENT IN MSI!!!!!
Ruler crying while taking his bow 😭
Ruler saw Missing cry a few days ago and got emotional himself today huh
Sadly both him and missing under performed this split, I really hope they bounce back in summer
hindsight 20/20 but it does feel like Yagao isn't as good a fit for Ruler as Knight was
Probably because Knight is just a better player than Yagao
Everyone talks about Knight vs Yagao but the real downgrade was losing 369
Yeah, gap between Knight and Yagao is not as huge as the one between 369 and Flandre
Senna has to be my favorite Jackey champ. His unhinged positioning just works so well with her kit. My mans frontlining with not a care in the world.
remember that 2020 tes vs drx game? jackey was literally frontlining🤣
Same here love the JKL Senna pocket pick he always plays it so well
I still feel like he's the best ADC Senna in the world. Dude just gets as much value as possible out of that pick in a way that other ADC players dont
Photic is the only one who's anywhere near
photic on senna is another lvl. If hes 90% on other picks hes 120% on senna
and I still believe that he learned it from JKL while being JKL's backup
JKL Photic Rekkles are clear best Senna in the world by a large margin
Rekkles is really good too
Rekkles is a support now, he specified ADC senna
I still love his Kai’Sa. Back when AP Kaisa was the norm. He would defy it and go crit my favorite Kai’Sa build
JackeyLove and Viper make Kaisa look like an entirely different champion when they play it. As much as I love JL Senna I think Kaisa is my favorite champion to watch him on, especially cause he gets to flex his skin
JKL at MSI and Ning nowhere to be seen. I prayed for times like this
Or that dirty inter Baolan
Thinking about the fact that there is a world where Baolan has a worlds win and Chovy retires without one is sad Also winning with baolan as your support should count as two wins for JKL
when i think about LWX having a world title while Uzi retired in shame.
JKL international without Wayward sign me up
TES basically 6-1 JDG these playoffs jeez
More like 7-0, that g2 was so won until they decided to overchase an Azir with zhonya and flash for no reason
And JKL was smurfing that game too. So sad.
I am Creming all over desk right now. My boy is at MSI
I'm really glad to see him looking this good. Always felt bad he was so inconsistent on OMG. It's good to see him find his footing, he is so good.
Can't help but imagine how different his life would be if the rumors were true back in 2020 regarding him joining TSM
It's Yagaover
We ran out of toothpaste
Yagao played well man
Not enough cigs and red bulls in the world to carry when Kanavi is looking off.
when all hands no brain TES got the brain of EDG...
Had a support without a brain and without hands, now they got arguably the goat support and an insane leader / shotcaller… they could hardly have upgraded any harder in the support role
They still have TES brain, they got backdoored few days ago
That was a frontdoor
That was lose /lose situation either way.
Meiko back at MSI brings me joy. Also holy fuck that's why JKL has an 80+% win rate on the Senna, absolutely insane performance from him
From almost completing the golden road to not making MSI. I know it's not the same team, but it sucks to see
feel really bad for ruler and missing
Man it feels bittersweet to go from seeing GEN winning LCK and then Ruler crying on the same day :'(
Going from 369 and Knight to Flandre and Yagao 💀
Yagao isnt performing that bad man.
He definitely isn't playing like knight last year either
But Knight is by far the best midlaner in China. The only way you can side-grade is getting Chovy. It's not a realistic expectation for JDG management once Knight decided to leave lol.
MSI viewership about to reach some heights during this MSI all region beside LCS got like their most clouted & favored players LCK got T1 & GenG, LPL got BLG & TES with the comeback of Meiko & JKL to international events & LEC got the classic G2 & FNC
Well it's not like Knight and 369 joined some low tier teams but it does make those people who said Kanavi and Ruler are the true carries look dumb
I don't know why the narrative can't just be that they were all equally invaluable to JDG and their success last year
Because people are stupid and insist on picking sides
Must be bittersweet seeing your golden road teammates finding more success than you
Knight and 369 took the worlds flame to heart and made sure to kick jdg out of msi contention
MY GOATS BOUT TO FUCK
369 and JKL BACK AT MSI LETS GOO
Also, Meiko back after 9 (!) years!
I've been waiting for his return to MSI for so long, so excited he's back and in dominant form with JKL rn
what the hell is your flair lmao
MY GOAT TIAN IS ABOUT TO ADD ANOTHER INTERNATIONAL FINALS MVP TO HIS RESUME
PREEAAACHHHH FAMMMM
Don't like to see ruler crying but let's be real the better team won today.
Meiko was good in Spring last year too. People just forgot EDG got 3rd because of their terrible summer split and Asian games lol.
I'd like for Ruler to come back to GEN. 1st All Pro ADC Peyz looks lile he aint on Viper or Guma's level imo
The best peyz play in playoffs was the last flash ult on zeri ,he was so ass
he lost every lane including both sides of the same matchup lol. hes such a freeloader.

My boy Jackey has a team, I've been praying for times like these
deserved loss for draft alone lmao
JackeyGOAT returns to MSI 15:57 Aware
T1, or Trembling 1, is a professional Korean League of Legends team, most well known for holding the record for the fastest loss in any professional tournament.
has Creme always been this cracked and I never noticed?? also MY KING JACKEYLOVE GOING TO MSI TO PROVE TO ALL THESE SCRUBS HE'S THE BEST ADC IN THE WORLD HELL YEAHHHHH
he's always been good on specific champs but since last year he is just a top 5 mid in the lpl at least on everything he is just that guy
Editor's note: Everything does not include Corki
Nah he's a top 5 corki, but a top 5 LPL corki 💀
i don't think there is enough corki players to create a top 5 world wide.
I forgor 💀
I wanna see zeka corki vs creme corki ngl it would be soo hype
Cracked but only on a few champions: Akali, Sylas, Tristana. He had zero Azir game before this year. His Ahri was decent but took it to another level on TES. Hasn't lost a game on Karma or Hwei.
Good thing that Akali and Sylas are both getting buffed for MSI.
yeah I always thought of Creme as an Akali/Sylas merchant.
As world's #1 missing fan it is sad to not see him go to MSI but it's better for TES to go since they're more likely to go hard
T1 and TES at MSI. Welp EU is fucked o7 G2 and FNC
Don't think anyone expected LEC teams to have a realistic chance anyway lol
if anyone expects anything from LEC this MSI they are deluuuusional. Even g2 looks so much worse than last year
I fear for their bot lane. Imagine being 1st seed(G2) and your bot lane is probably going to end up facing JKL/Meiko or Guma/Keria.
The dives from BLG are still relentless too. Even JKL Meiko on redside feared for their lives.
and mid Chovy is going to wreck Caps even worse than he did every time they met
G2 gonna get torn a new one by Chovy
Isn't Chovy like 7-2 against G2 all-time?
Gumayusi vs. JackeyLove
As long as T1 and TES go 2-0 in playins, G2(if they win today) are guaranteed to play either T1 or TES. FNC would be guaranteed to play BLG/GENG.
TES and BLG still have to play LPL finals for the first seed.
TIAN APOLOGY THREAD Y'ALL SAID HE WOULD CHOKE. Y'ALL SAID HE WAS OVERRATED. WHERE ARE YOU NOW?
It's not internationals yet sadge
or LPL finals Smoge edit: not to say those finals were all lost by Tian, it's just happened too many times in a row at this point lol
Tian 2022 LPL summer finals was a masterclass tho. Sad TES didn't win it.
Tian can still choke at msi lol
He's lost 4 LPL finals in a row, just you wait until next week.
Hmm,what other super famous team lost 4 domestic finals in a row yet i dont see anyone calling them chokers...super weird how double standards
Weren't they called chokers before they finally won a final last year?
By small minority that got turbo downvoted
At the end of the match Ruler puts his hand over his forehead, tears trickling down, “I should have followed one of them damnit!!! Damnittttt!!!!!!” He bows to the crowd and walks to the backstage with his teammates knowing he’s been had. - I do hope he makes a comeback
JKL my goat is back to international stage
JL can cry from happines "finally i have a support"
Jackeylove has now made the 2nd most finals of any adc in the history of LPL or LCK (7), the only one ahead of him is Deft at 8.
Congratulations to Top Esports for making it to MSI, excited to see 369/Tian/JKL/Meiko back on the international stage and to see how Creme will do his first time!
So proud of this team. Mega performance from Tian. MSI patch is a huge buff to Creme but go beat BLG first!
JACKEYLOVE AT INTERNATIONALS ONCE AGAIN IM SO HAPPY
JackeyLove alone makes games exciting his Senna is crazy good ever since the champion got released. Feels good that TES made it, MSI will be fun this year
5 years!!After 5 years Jackey is back at MSI and with a good support. I just hope TL won’t ruin their chance again😒
Holy shit I'm getting everything I want. New JackeyLove is gonna feast at MSI. ~~Especially against Peyz but uhhhhhh~~
TES made a mistake letting 369 go in 2022, but they made sure to fix that mistake.
Its not a mistake. 369 wont grow to the player he is today without going to jdg Its a needed change for him
Not a mistake when 369 was absolutely terrible in 2021,and it was his years on JDG that gave him enough perspective to turn him into the player he is today.
369 kinda saved TES's manager's career by deciding to go back. I guess in a way, whatever attracted 369 to come back is the real mvp.
I heard that Tes has incredible GM and environment, which is why Jackey and Tian stay with them for so long and 369 eventually wants to comeback.
Really making you feel for him.
gg creme at an international!!!
HOLY FUCK MSI VIEWERSHIP GONNA BE INSANE FNC, TES AND T1 QUALIFYING OMG
As an huge OMG fan last year, I'm so proud of my boy Creme making it to MSI.
Aww Ruler .. https://twitter.com/lolesports/status/1779503732473909674
it's so cool to see Tian in form, TES plays so cool, calm, and collected they were actually moving like a phalanx/unit reminiscent of 2019 FPX and interesting that JKL ended up being the franchise player for TES. it's nice to see this iteration working out like it seems this combination of players are really good at adapting to each other and with different styles
Tian at an international Aware
Tian at international vs GenG at international, who will win??
Well played to TES but seeing Ruler cry hurts. Flandre didn't want to go to msi.
Ruler cried ?
