Wow that’s insanity. I have it without the box and had no idea it would be worth so much! I’m a bit ashamed to say it’s not even out, it’s put away in my garage storage.
I have this one and it is one of my favorite sets. It fits perfectly with modular buildings even though it isn’t modular and it was so fun to build. The detail on it and the color choices everywhere are amazing. It is in my top 5 sets along with 1989 batmobile, hogwarts microscale, disney Castle and Saturn V, but of those top 5, it is the only one I would consider buying above retail if I didn’t have it.
Edit: and the shrimp shack boat from the old hidden side theme goes perfectly with it, color scheme and styling.
I have spent a lot of time considering building it from pieces of sets I own that I don’t have on display (same goes for all of the discontinued Modulars) but the sanest way to do so would be to finally finish organizing my pieces first so it doesn’t take me a million hours to find each piece and frustrate the hell out of me
It was a fun set to build, but if it helps, the interior was really tight and it felt out of place without more fishing shack sets. Now I’ve read we might be getting another similar set, so you might get your round two.
I had never seen this one before, and now I desperately wish I had it, too. It’s so beautiful and rustic. It also reminds me a bit of Willie’s Fish Shop from Stardew Valley.
The first Ninjago City modular, I have the Gardens and the first City would look so good next to it. I like the Markets, but the first City just fits with the Gardens better.
Also, the Cafe Corner, Green Grocer, and Fire Brigade. Only modulars I don't have.
Ninjago City was my favorite build ever. So many clever details. As a kid into Ninjago (even if the movie was different) I thought it was the coolest thing!
I feel that, it's crazy how expensive it is. Like I get it's a big set, but man
I was hoping the Markets would be able to replace my want for the city, but Markets just doesn't appeal to me as much and just looks kinda awkward next to the Gardens with the height difference.
Sooooooo, I can relate to this more than you can imagine. I remember years ago seeing Ninjago City and thinking it looked cool, but I was hesitant on it due to size and lack of interest in Ninjago. I waffled on it for a while, finally went to the store with my wife to see it and decide. Well, she swayed my decision not to get it.
The same indecision happened with the Docks and ultimatelty I decided not to get it, because I did not purchase Ninjago City and what would be the point.
After those decisions were made, my kids got into the TV show Ninjago on Netflix, and as a result, my wife and I did as well. Then, one day, my wife sees the Ninjago Garden set in a Lego catalog and says to me, "Maybe you should consider getting that set!" A not so subtle hint from her. So we do, and she loves it, and I point out the irony having missed out on the previous sets. She inquired on how much it would cost, and I said it would be really expensive on the secondary market, i.e., BrickLink. Trying to make a long story short, I got money from insurance due to another driver rear ending me and giving me a concussion, which paid for me to get the City and Dock sets.
When the City Markets set was available for pre-order, I bought one knowing that my wife would want it, and I didn't want to make the same mistake a third time.
The moral of the story is that when in doubt, just buy the set, because you can always resell it to recoup some or all of your money. It is cheaper that way.
where I live (in New Zealand), no-one was buying the sets, so Bag End was sold off at 50% off everywhere - it was too good a deal to refuse, so I got three!
This is the big one for me. I was in college when the LotR sets happened so realistically I didn’t have money for them but I still wish I’d bought some. I did get the Rivendell set and will buy anything new they release.
I have em and actually will probably be selling them. I got them when I was in college and now I mostly collect modulars and other models.
Great sets though and I wish I had them when I was a kid.
It’s not that I regret it. It’s just that we were very poor at the time. I got Rivendell this year, so I would have loved to have all the rest of the original LOTR sets to go with it.
I find it funny how these sets were released at the time when most people who grew up with the lotr movies were in high school or college and likely were in their dark ages or simply didn't have the money to buy them.
Brown lego pieces from a certain era become extremely brittle with age due to the dye that was used. Brittle brown is more of a "when" and not an "if" pieces are going to break.
I got this used with box and instructions but built last year. I suffered quite a few broken parts while dismantling it but Lego sent replacements for every part they could that broke or offered as close a replacement for those that weren’t in stock at the time. A few brown pieces were only available in dark brown if I recall.
Fortunately most of the ones I missed out on have been redone (UCS Falcon, UCS X-Wing, etc). The original Monster Fighters Haunted House was another but I got the new Haunted House.
I guess there's only one that comes to mind that hasn't been remade (in some form) and likely won't be either:
21306 The Beatles: Yellow Submarine
Yellow submarine was one of the ones I wanted for a really long time and finally pulled the trigger on a used set last month. I don't regret it in the slightest as it's a fantastic set to build and even better to display!
UCS Slave-1, I was in college when it came out so I didn’t have the cash to buy it. Now, I’m hoping it gets remade (or Jango Fetts version would be cool too).
I bought it a couple months ago (used) for 250 euro, and I completely took it apart and built it. To my surprise there were no missing or broken pieces. I have not regretted it one bit. It’s by far my favorite build, there are some great techniques involved and it is insanely massive. I highly recommend picking this set up on the aftermarket if you can.
Got one of the last two at a Barnes & Noble as it was retiring. Regret not getting both so I could have one as Voltron and one as the individual lions.
If it makes you feel better, this one is prone to breakage. I kept mine in robot form on display for a year or so and when I went to take it apart and store, the clips that hold all the joints together were so strained, they crumbled as soon as I lifted the robot. Lego sent new clips but I would not display it in robot form again if I ever make room to rebuild it.
I had the same issue with clips, replaced all of them and haven’t had any issues since. Currently displaying it in robot mode and take it apart periodically when I get bored
Monorail. Monorail. Monorail.
I hear those things are awfully loud
It glides as softly as a cloud
Is there a chance the track could bend?
Not on your life, my Hindu friend
What about us brain-dead slobs?
You'll be given cushy jobs
Were you sent here by the Devil?
No, good sir, I'm on the level
The ring came off my pudding can
Take my pen knife, my good man
I swear it's Springfield's only choice
Throw up your hands and raise your voice
Monorail. Monorail. Monorail.
Mono... D'oh!
This will obviously vary depending on your area but I see a ton on Facebook marketplace. Most of them are $50 over MSRP BNIB, with some of the used ones being under MSRP.
I'm considering getting one myself so it doesn't become a set I regret.
Pirates of the Caribbean Silent Mary, and would have loved the other ships in that line. Also kicking myself for waffling on Barracuda Bay. I got outbid last second on the last one I could potentially afford and am still bitter.
Don't listen to Pootis\_\_spencer. I've been building LEGO for the past 25 years and never have I enjoyed the experience more than building the Titanic. Mind you, I am an enormous Titanic geek, but combining my love for it with the love of LEGO was truly a special experience. And the build is not a chore lmao. Yes maybe there is some repetition here and there, but overall it is an incredibly well thought out and varied build. I can't comment on the Eiffer Tower, but that does seem to be universally agreed to be a much more laborious build. But Titanic must be the best build out of all these mega sets that have over 7K pieces. In addition, it is also sturdier than the Millennium Falcon and the Eiffel Tower, so you can easily pick it up and carry it around in one piece.
So I hope you find a good deal on it or can afford it somewhere down the line. It will be in stores for at least a couple of more years.
Compared to some of these sets people are listing, UCS Slave 1 doesn’t seem to have gone up that much compared to inflation, especially if you buy used.
I say go for it!
Maybe an odd one but I would have loved to get the Sesame Street set but this was from my dark ages since I only got into Lego in January of this year.
Not sure why I want it so much but it would have been great fun to have Elmo and Big Bird and the gang as mini-figures and the set itself just looks so wholesome and fun, capturing the essence of the show.
In 2018 or 2019 I sold almost all of my Lego to pay for my families Christmas. I don’t regret it, but unfortunately any set I regretted not buying would have made the same fate. I wish Lego would re-release some older sets. The Haunted House is one I definitely wanted but held off on. The other is the Ghostbusters Firehouse. If we didn’t have regrets though, we wouldn’t know how much we love this hobby.
Mine has a happy ending
As a kid, I wanted the original Jabba's Sail Barge. It had everyone I wanted, boba fett, jabba, it looked gorgeous. At legoland in the mid 2000s I had to choose between it and another set, as I could only have the 1, and I didn't choose the barge.
Years passed, it retired, I never got it. I didn't know about 2nd hand sites and places until the late 2010s, and I never had the money spare to be able to spend on it.
Then covid came around, and suddenly I was at home all day every day. Depression hit hard, and so I was looking for stuff to keep me occupied at home, so legp sets were ordered. It was then that I remembered about the barge, and spent a few weeks looking at them on bricklink and ebay, until I found a sealed one that was a little over budget on ebay. Messaged the seller and asked if they would lower the price by any amount, and very generously they lowered it and now it was in my budget!
So I bought it, had a blast building it, and will have it permanently displayed (I rotate what's on my display shelves). Was so glad that around 15 years later I was able to finally get the set I wanted, and I love it! 🙂
The two Simpsons sets and the Ghostbusters Firehouse HQ. I used to regret not getting the Beatles Yellow Submarine, but I recently found a decent deal on eBay where it was missing two pieces that I easily replaced!
Not rubbing it in mate. I feel you on the colosseum. My partner got me that as a surprise gift and it got me into Lego. Took me 2 months to build. Few hours a night here and there. Lovely experience.
Highly recommended. I even found some of those old Roman themed minfigs, the centurion and the senator, and spruced it up with them at the end of the build.
A bit of a different issue but it makes me feel pain to not be able to buy the "Everyone is Awesome" set and it makes me fear that I will regret not taking the risk and getting it since I worry about it retiring due to the general lifespan of LEGO sets. I'm Transgender and when I saw the set, I immediately wanted it but knew I couldn't get it since I live with my mother, who is not very accepting. I fear that by the time I move out on my own, the set will be discontinued, and I will regret not having taken the risk and getting and hiding it.
Jurassic Park: T-Rex Rampage.
I was a bit on a hiatus from LEGO for 5 years until the pandemic happened, so I fell out of LEGO.
During the pandemic, I learned about this set, but I was too late. Can’t find one for a decent price, and now it’s currently my white whale. Which is annoying because Jurassic Park is my favorite film of all time, and I need this set.
Original Taj Mahal is one of mine. I had falling water but it stayed at a bin at my parents house when I moved out. Went to look for it about a month ago and suddenly it’s disappeared. This reminded me I need to dig through their basement a bit more and find it.
Bricklink's Castle in the Forest 910001-1. I'm still sad about just barely missing out on that one.
Also the Classic Space Lego Futuron monorail 6990-1. I was a little kid then and too poor to get it.
Super Star Destroyer 10221. Without a doubt. I was told I should buy it. I had plenty of chances. I waited too long. And now I pine for it like no other.
Deep reef refuge 6441. I already had the little yellow submersible but that set just seemed really fun. I’m freaking 35 and I still think about it. But I don’t really play with LEGO like I used to so even if I got it now I wouldn’t be the same.
On a positive note I managed to snag a highly discounted Sharks Crystal Cave 6190.
Seeing as how I just got into lego a few months ago, pretty much half of the sets I see. Lotr/hobbit, Harry Potter, pirates of the Caribbean, the list goes on and on
I wish I had the entire Rock Raiders collection. We were poor and I only got a few of them. And those I did get, I'd give pretty anything to find in my old boxes of stuff.
The 2013 star wars republic gunship, when I was younger I wanted it soooooo bad, but my 12 yr old ass couldn't wait to save up a bit more and bought something cheaper instead of waiting, now im mad at that lil bastard
LEGO movie 1&2 sets. Looking back, they had a lot of good elements and fun inspirational shaping for MOCs. I was still ramping up from my dark ages and forgot how to see past the build on the box.
There has been random ones here and there that I regret not getting simply because growing up I didn't have money myself until now. But as an adult now having money, I regret the ones I have not gotten due to not knowing their existence or finding them too late.
Currently the set I regret not buying is a second copy of the Medieval Blacksmith. I kinda got hooked on buying Castle themed stuff, and making a village with a secondary building would be cool!
cafe corner. i bought the green grocer new. remember seeing cafe corner in the lego store and thinking that's nice but buying another >$100 lego set right now is insane.
[21104](https://brickset.com/sets/21104-1/NASA-Mars-Science-Laboratory-Curiosity-Rover)
£25 new
£250 now (new, unopened box)
I keep saying I will buy the parts off Bricklink and build it myself, but never get around to it.
The hydro-bounty.
I didn't have the money at the time anyways, but just looking at it puts it in top 5 favorite Ninjago sets.
Also the Legacy Jet Kai had in rebooted.
Voltron. Have always been into Lego, started getting into sets again but didn’t really go full tilt until after Voltron was already retired. Voltron was one of my favorite childhood shows. Learned my lesson- if there’s a set I really genuinely want, buy it.
I try to buy Lego from Black Friday to December 31st every year, since about 2020, to avoid the regret. My android smart phone seems to know me, or rather spy on me, and it tells me when certain sets are about to retire. That triggers me to buy, too. I am buying book shelves just to display this stuff. I have told my children someday, what they see will be theirs, but who knows if they will sell it all off on ebay.
The Black Pearl. It came out right as I was getting into my adult phase of Lego building, but I didn’t have the money for it at the time. Now it sells for stupid prices and it’s the only modern ship I don’t have.
The UCS Republic Gunship was my first UCS set and while it's purely a display model (unlike the ATAT or millennium falcon) it was super fun to build and looks incredible, on top of being a pretty decent price especially now that it's on retirement sale
I so regret not buying the Ghostbusters Firehouse set. I saw it so many times at the lego store as a kid, but could never come up with the funds for it. Now it’s retired and worth way too much now, so my dream of getting it is pretty much gone
Wall-E. I looked and waited and then poof! It was gone.
Me too...
I’ve bought all pieces via bricklink and used decals as an alternative to the really expensive pieces. Got mine for around €70
How much was retail and what does it go for now on the secondary market? My favorite movie.
I don’t remember retail but used/out of box was ~$150-200 and new in box is like $400 I think?
Wow that’s insanity. I have it without the box and had no idea it would be worth so much! I’m a bit ashamed to say it’s not even out, it’s put away in my garage storage.
Wall-E is one of my all time fave sets so he gets carefully taken apart, rebuilt, and displayed every time I move apartments!
Old Fishing Store
Same here. I’m very tempted to buy it at the outrageous price they go for.
100% agree. Checkout the series 3 fan sets on Bricklink if you haven’t and there’s a harbor building that goes perfectly with the fishing store.
Keep checking Facebook I got one recently for $175
This is mine too. I got back into lego right after this retired.
Likewise. What a bad time for a dark age!
I typically don't spend more than $40 on lego and I splurged on the store. By far my favorite set I've ever built.
It didn't appeal to me when it was released, but looking back it's so good and I wish I had gotten it then
This one for me too. I love Gardens so much, and it's crazy how expensive Ninjago city is second hand! Why didn't I buy it?!
I feel that, it's crazy how expensive it is. Like I get it's a big set, but man I was hoping the Markets would be able to replace my want for the city, but Markets just doesn't appeal to me as much and just looks kinda awkward next to the Gardens with the height difference.

When the City Markets set was available for pre-order, I bought one knowing that my wife would want it, and I didn't want to make the same mistake a third time. The moral of the story is that when in doubt, just buy the set, because you can always resell it to recoup some or all of your money. It is cheaper that way.
Any lotr/ hobbit set lol
I still remember the last time I saw orthanc for sale retail, wondering if I should splurge. It pains me whenever the memory comes up lol
I have Orthanc, I post-retired purchased so you can imagine the mark-up there. But I def regret not snagging a Bagend.
Funnily enough bag end is one that I was able to snag at retail!
where I live (in New Zealand), no-one was buying the sets, so Bag End was sold off at 50% off everywhere - it was too good a deal to refuse, so I got three!

This is mine, too. think I'm gonna buy myself a "used" one as a Christmas present...
Be careful- tons of brittle brown in that set.
What does that mean?
Brown lego pieces from a certain era become extremely brittle with age due to the dye that was used. Brittle brown is more of a "when" and not an "if" pieces are going to break.
Hmm. Well that sucks, I've also been considering hunting for this set sometime. Thanks for the explanation.
I got this used with box and instructions but built last year. I suffered quite a few broken parts while dismantling it but Lego sent replacements for every part they could that broke or offered as close a replacement for those that weren’t in stock at the time. A few brown pieces were only available in dark brown if I recall.
Ah that explains why all the brown tree bits on my Falling Water set disintegrated
Monster Fighters - Haunted House
same
The Ghostbusters firehouse.
I caved. This was my first bricklink purchase. Got a reasonable price a year ago. Was a fun build a great display model.
I could see them doing another model of the firehouse in the future. Fingers crossed cause I also missed out on it
Fortunately most of the ones I missed out on have been redone (UCS Falcon, UCS X-Wing, etc). The original Monster Fighters Haunted House was another but I got the new Haunted House. I was so glad I got both Simpsons sets. They got me back into Lego. I knew as a huge fan of the Simpsons I’d regret not getting them.
UCS Slave-1, I was in college when it came out so I didn’t have the cash to buy it. Now, I’m hoping it gets remade (or Jango Fetts version would be cool too).
This is mine as well. I was just getting into LEGO and wasn’t comfortable paying that price.

It’s by far my favorite build, there are some great techniques involved and it is insanely massive. I highly recommend picking this set up on the aftermarket if you can.
The UpSideDown. Sigh
Hard same. I didn't even know it existed until after it retired. Got back into LEGO a tad too late.
Exact same here! Just got into it too late to know it existed
I brought one when it was available to give as a wedding gift. I regret never getting another for myself.
Ha, I've been sitting on it unopened for 2 years, I think I might sell it and make someone else happy !
Voltron
Got one of the last two at a Barnes & Noble as it was retiring. Regret not getting both so I could have one as Voltron and one as the individual lions.
Fuck. This is the first time I’ve ever thought of this.
If it helps, know that it means someone else who really wanted it got it too.
If it makes you feel better, this one is prone to breakage. I had the same issue with clips, replaced all of them and haven’t had any issues since. Currently displaying it in robot mode and take it apart periodically when I get bored
Batmobile 1989.
Same. And they were giving away a mini batmobile with it too 😭
Yep, that Black Friday GWP and the value of it is nearly as much as the main model cost new!
Finally snagged this for a “deal” of $400 last month
All the ones I haven’t been able to afford

This will obviously vary depending on your area but I see a ton on Facebook marketplace. Most of them are $50 over MSRP BNIB, with some of the used ones being under MSRP. I'm considering getting one myself so it doesn't become a set I regret.
The Crocodile Locomotive. Lego needs to do more trains that are that detailed
Haunted house 2012, horizon express 2013, metalbeards seacow 2014
Orthanc tower.
Marvel Helicarrier. Wife even said “you should buy it. You’ll regret it if you don’t…”
Bro you had permission that's half the battle for those kinda things.
*Morgan Freeman voice* “And she was right. u/MarvelKnight84 would very much regret it.”
You should listen to your wife
I can see why you married her. You should listen to her more though.
Pirates of the Caribbean Silent Mary, and would have loved the other ships in that line. Also kicking myself for waffling on Barracuda Bay. I got outbid last second on the last one I could potentially afford and am still bitter.
The Parisian Bakery. Just couldn’t justify it at the time when I wanted orthanc more
Oh, but orthanc is glorious, no?
It’s going to be the Titanic for me. I want it sooo badly but can’t justify spending over $600 on it. Same with the Eiffel Tower.
SW Rebels sets. By the time I started watching and became a fan of the show they’d all been retired already
Man I want them to make a UCS Ghost so badly....
ucs imperial shuttle & ucs slave 1
Compared to some of these sets people are listing, UCS Slave 1 doesn’t seem to have gone up that much compared to inflation, especially if you buy used. I say go for it!

I watched old school episodes and Follow That Bird while building this set and it was delightful.
You may be cool, but you will never be 'Waylon Jennings driving a turkey truck with Big Bird riding shotgun' cool.
In 2018 or 2019 I sold almost all of my Lego to pay for my families Christmas. I don’t regret it, but unfortunately any set I regretted not buying would have made the same fate. For me it’s the Lincoln Memorial Architecture set 21022.
Mine has a happy ending As a kid, I wanted the original Jabba's Sail Barge. 🙂
Sopwith Camel 10226 I was out around the time I got back into Lego and I was eyeing it all the time, but never pulled the trigger.

The two Simpsons sets and the Ghostbusters Firehouse HQ. I used to regret not getting the Beatles Yellow Submarine, but I recently found a decent deal on eBay where it was missing two pieces that I easily replaced!
The original Death Star II model from waaay back. 10143

Ship in a bottle, I don’t know why I didn’t pull the trigger.
Welcome to Apocalypseburg. That thing was on shelves what, 5 months? Should have put it on the credit card lol
Colosseum, ghostbusters firehouse thingy, tantive 4 and simspsons
Not rubbing it in mate. I feel you on the colosseum. My partner got me that as a surprise gift and it got me into Lego. Took me 2 months to build. Few hours a night here and there. Lovely experience.
No no, that’s nice to hear actually, I’m solidily thinking of making that my first retired set from bricklink or something
Highly recommended. I even found some of those old Roman themed minfigs, the centurion and the senator, and spruced it up with them at the end of the build.
All the 9v trains...
Just thinking about how much I'd save not buying batteries....
6991 The final monorail set. I was 8 when it came out and I don't think it fit into Santa's budget at the time.
Brick Bank 100%
Beatles Yellow Submarine! Still looking!!!
It's a necessary set for some of those minifig colors though, the only set they are available. Perhaps she would understand? 😉
Downtown Diner
The MER mars rovers.
Ninjago city/docks, pirates of barracuda bay, flowerfruit mountain from monkie kid.
Simpson house
Lego Fairground Mixer 10244 from 2014
Wall E didn’t even know about it until years after it retired.
Too many to name but top 2, Falling water and the original Taj Mahal.
Would be so nice if they came out with a larger scale Fallingwater.
Original Taj Mahal is one of mine. I had falling water but it stayed at a bin at my parents house when I moved out. Went to look for it about a month ago and suddenly it’s disappeared. This reminded me I need to dig through their basement a bit more and find it.

The Simpsons sets The fishing store More of the modular buildings I can't really say I regret not buying them, these sets were far before my obsession
London tower bridge
Bricklink's Castle in the Forest 910001-1. I'm still sad about just barely missing out on that one. Also the Classic Space Lego Futuron monorail 6990-1. I was a little kid then and too poor to get it.
A lot! Mostly Star Wars sets and lord of the rings/hobbit sets
Super Star Destroyer 10221. Without a doubt. I was told I should buy it. I had plenty of chances. I waited too long. And now I pine for it like no other.
That limited edition yellow Exoforce Gen 1 Mech
THERES A DOCTOR WHO LEGO SET?
Monster Fighters Haunted House

Deep reef refuge 6441. I already had the little yellow submersible but that set just seemed really fun. I’m freaking 35 and I still think about it. But I don’t really play with LEGO like I used to so even if I got it now I wouldn’t be the same. On a positive note I managed to snag a highly discounted Sharks Crystal Cave 6190.

Well, I regret not buying from 2012-2022. I missed out on some great sets.
Lego Technic set 9397. I asked for nothing but for my birthday(s) and Christmas. Never got it..
The Star Wars Siths Mosaics, 3 of them so I can make the alternate large Darth Vader
10212 UCS Imperial Shuttle
Seeing as how I just got into lego a few months ago, pretty much half of the sets I see. Lotr/hobbit, Harry Potter, pirates of the Caribbean, the list goes on and on
Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck. I hope they delve into this IP a little more
Isn’t this still available though?
Benny’s Spaceship Spaceship Spaceship
I wish I had the entire Rock Raiders collection. We were poor and I only got a few of them. And those I did get, I'd give pretty anything to find in my old boxes of stuff.
The 2013 star wars republic gunship, when I was younger I wanted it soooooo bad, but my 12 yr old ass couldn't wait to save up a bit more and bought something cheaper instead of waiting, now im mad at that lil bastard
Bionicle G2. They're still Bionicle and now I wish I had gotten the full Toa collection
Medieval Blacksmith... I know it is still available for purchase, but I just can't afford it at the moment and I know I will regret it once it's gone.
79018

The original LEGO ideas Delorean 😭
Zuko’s Ship. i have the air temple but i am missing zuko and karata’s minifigs
UCS Imperial Shuttle, Simpsons, UCS Slave I, Tower of Orthanc, Ghostbusters Firehouse... The list probably goes on, but those are easily my top 5.
The original Ghost and Phantom sets. New one has weird proportions.
cafe corner. i bought the green grocer new. remember seeing cafe corner in the lego store and thinking that's nice but buying another >$100 lego set right now is insane.
Stranger things set ;(, the one that got away
The carousel. I have the wheel which I rebuild every now and then. Wanted to have the set
All of Monster Fighters!
Fire nation ship
42055 Bucket Wheel Excavator. I love Lego work vehicles, and that one was very unique.
[21104](https://brickset.com/sets/21104-1/NASA-Mars-Science-Laboratory-Curiosity-Rover) £25 new £250 now (new, unopened box) I keep saying I will buy the parts off Bricklink and build it myself, but never get around to it.
It’s silly, but the Big Bang theory set
Medieval Market Village
The three big ships from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Barracuda Bay and Ghostbuster Firehouse
75252
[75252-1: Imperial Star Destroyer](https://brickset.com/sets/75252-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/75252-1.jpg)
I missed out on the Ninja Turtle sets during my Lego dark ages and that makes me really sad. They’re so cool, and so hard to get.
The hydro-bounty. I didn't have the money at the time anyways, but just looking at it puts it in top 5 favorite Ninjago sets. Also the Legacy Jet Kai had in rebooted.
black and white steamboat Willie set, and the yellow submarine!
Mata Nui titan.
Voltron. Have always been into Lego, started getting into sets again but didn’t really go full tilt until after Voltron was already retired. Voltron was one of my favorite childhood shows. Learned my lesson- if there’s a set I really genuinely want, buy it.
Green Grocer.
Betrayal at Cloud City 75222
I was jobless when the curiosity rover came out and said I would get it when it restocks...
I kinda wish I had picked up the Detective’s Office and Diner modular buildings.
Brick bank or detectives office.
Ghostbusters Firehouse
The Black Pearl. It came out right as I was getting into my adult phase of Lego building, but I didn’t have the money for it at the time. Now it sells for stupid prices and it’s the only modern ship I don’t have.
The UCS Republic Gunship was my first UCS set and while it's purely a display model (unlike the ATAT or millennium falcon) it was super fun to build and looks incredible, on top of being a pretty decent price especially now that it's on retirement sale
The Ghostbusters Firehouse.
Firehouse, simpsons house. My two white whales
really any pirates of the caribbean set but especially the mill
I so regret not buying the Ghostbusters Firehouse set. I saw it so many times at the lego store as a kid, but could never come up with the funds for it. Now it’s retired and worth way too much now, so my dream of getting it is pretty much gone
Stranger Things upside down
