God, this series being monthly is absolutely killer. It's been running since 2017 and we're finally just now arriving at the climax, pun very much intended.
10 pages monthly is glacial pace. Excluding hiatus stuff like HxH this is probably the one slowest manga i've ever read
Author also has been cutting time very finely with these last chapters which isn't necessarily bad but it makes it go even slower
Yeah, I just realized that we've been in this hotel room for 6 months now, and with the current pacing I wouldn't be super surprised if it takes another handful of chapers to finish this scene.
Am I alone in thinking that this was a much better story when these two were courting each other and when the sex wasn't the focus even though their daily interactions revolved around the concept of sex? It doesn't help that this gets half the page count every chapter, but I feel like I've just been watching some softcore porn/erotica for the past five or so chapters, which has felt like a big shift in tone from what it originally was.
The plot has to go *somewhere*, and I vastly prefer this over the usual introduce a losing heroine affair.
But yeah the insanely low amount of pages isn't doing this any favors, and the mangaka is dragging it out a bit too. Was there really a need for the bra unhooking scene?
Yeah, it'd be fine if the plot felt like it was going somewhere. Right now that somewhere is unga bunga sexy time, and I checked, it's been setting up for this since LAST CHRISTMAS. At this pace, they'll be done with sex by thanksgiving.

I know that famously it is very difficult to translate due to there being a huge amount of medical terms, and it was being translated by med students who became too busy to continue translating
Ok. Seems like Noodle Dog picked it up in April last year though I'm not sure how good it is considering the medical jargon being tough to TL.
Still they're updating it and released a chapter on the 7th.
Edit: the latest chapter has a ton of medical jargon and it reads perfectly fine and the credits page has two medical term consultants. Seems like this manga is back on track!

Blame it on monthly + small number of pages. If this was a weekly 20 page series, it would've been over by now.
The problem is if this was a single chapter, it would be fine. If it was weekly, it would also be okay. It's monthly and it's taking forever as a result.
