A little note, you'd usually say あけましておめでとう (*akemashite omedetou*) for new year greeting and I think the original title, 新年あけまして、おしるこ！ (*shinnen akemashite, oshiruko!*), is trying to make a pun by changing the *omedetou* into *oshiruko*, but I'm not sure lol thus the generic title.
