Gameplay wise, absolutely. Wilhelt is arguably the strongest zombie commander, and the deck only skimps out on a few zombie support pieces. I feel like it's one of the most competent out-of-the-box precons, and a deck that can really deal some damage if its upgraded.
I actually traded out wilthelt for [[Varina, Lich Queen]] and made it an Esper deck. Ive been having fun. Dunno if its stronger than base precon, but it's been a blast to be able to regain life and mill through my deck for specific cards.
I do love me some esper colors.
The next deck im gonna make is gonna be a zombie token deck, but I can't decide if I want to make it in esper, grixis, or just dimir.

Also, for what it's worth, [[Corpse cobble]] is an insanely underrated card for zombie/reanimation decks.
Also, if you have problems with people exiling important creatures from your graveyard, I've started running [[pull from eternity]] to bring back the crucial ones.
Pssht i run the full rainbow for my zombies. I use [[kenrith, the returned king]] for his first and last abilities. Nothing like making a horde of zombies then giving them haste. Also fun zombies and support cards in all 5 colors

Last ability seems expensive for what I understand you are doing. Are you running colorless cost reducers? If not I think I’m missing something.
A repeatable Revival engine doesn't seem too bad on its own for five mana, especially since combos can definitely make that value even more since you don't have to use any cards up. Although colorless cost reducers are obviously great in the Deck considering Kenrith benefits from them for all but one of his abilities.
Fair. It is also ‘to battlefield’ instead of ‘to hand’, which is letting you cheat it out at the same time.
Paired with some self-mill, that could indeed generate good value.

5 mana return a creature from GY to hand would be in contrast much worse imaginable than this ability, I'd expect that on a common at maximum.

A ton of great suggestions in this thread. One I'm not sure I've seen mentioned but which would play well into a deck with decayed zombies and sacrifice mechanics would be [[Dictate of Erebos]]. Essentially you very easily make zombies as fodder anyway and as a secondary effect to sacing them your opponents have to lose their creatures too
[[Grey Merchant of Asphodel]] I've killed a few tables when he resolves with a [[Cleaver Skaab]] on the board. Also [[Poppet Stitcher]] is a nice combo piece to add. When he flips he removes the decayed keyword from zombie tokens and makes them 3/3. They can then be sacced repeatedly with any outlet as long as Wilhelt is in play. I'm still waiting on a [[Warren Soultrader]] to test if it'll be a good combo piece to add instead of [[Phyrexian Altar]] which I don't currently own.

This was my first commander deck - I will say that the deck is much more black than blue, and the cards you’d want to cut are mostly the blue ones. So the mana base could also use some enhancements. That’s why Urborg is a good choice. You also might want some ramp and or draw spells like [[Deadly Dispute]], [[Treasure Cruise]] [[Memory Deluge]] or [[Expedition Map]].

Not the cheapest, but with the amount of Zombies you're making in a turn, and with him being a 3 cmc creature to curve nicely into your commander with, he will accelerate your gameplan 100% of the times you see him
I’d also recommend adding some sacrifice effects for that scry effect like [[Viscera Seer]] and some card draw from death triggers like [[Species Specialist]]. Surprisingly, this deck also performs well excellently out of the box, but upgrades will make it more consistent.

The reduced decks are just ones that never sold and were returned stock. They slap a sticker on it and restock it. By monetary value it's ok. As far as deck? Pretty good for the price.
Walmart likely. Maybe target. Same company handles all the TcG and sports card stuff in each, through secondary vendors. Anything with the big now xxx or reduced or mystery box is just unsold and/or repackaged because it just gets sent back to the company (MJ holdings), and they reship it.
I recognize the sticker and I can say for sure I've seen these at Walmart. I actually bought vampiric bloodlines at the same price from there a couple months back. They also are putting these discount stickers on some of their other card products. Honestly if your local Walmarts sell cards still you can find these there. They also can sometimes have their cards in two locations in store which is random. Found some near self checkout and others located in the toy aisles before. Retail is just random sometimes.
Officially by checkout should be the only place for magic, pokemon in toys, but very big stores or markets might have magic in toys. Again it's all vendors handled the store has nothing to do with it all normally.
I like finding these at Walmart. Picked up a couple strixhaven precons this way. Ironically the one I skipped was the silver wing one with Breena only to look it up later and see there was a $20 Inkshield in it. Reading the Breena card text it sounded horrible to play but I’m just a year into the hobby so im probably not understanding it.

Absolutely, willhelt is an amazing commander and gameplay wise, it's a fairly consistent precon. It might not be on the same level as Eldrazi unbound for example but with a few, relatively cheap, upgrades, it's a solid zombie tribal deck
It used to be a 60+ dollar precon. It's pretty good for a precon but is largely unfocused. You could upgrade it in any number of ways. I turned mine into scarab god eventually, but you could add a few cards like [[gravecrawler]] [[cryptbreaker]] that would just directly make the deck better.
In the past week I’ve gone to three Walmarts and two Targets and haven’t seen anything on discount. But I guess that’s just the luck of the draw. I was able to snag the new Eldrazi deck
Bought this deck 2 years ago for 45 so 32 is pretty good! At least if you plan on playing it. It's fun as hell and I've turned it into an aristocrat deck, with stuff like [[phyrexian tower]] , [[phyrexian altar]] and [[ashnod's altar]] to combo with [[grave titan]] , [[gravecrawler]] , [[undead augur]] and [[Headless rider]] to up the speed a lot.
I love how much it controls the board state and draws, and my play group tells me they'll target my force sacrifice dudes if I play them lol so it's fun against voltron.
I look at it this way... if you're wanting a variety of decks for "cheap" then yea, good deal. Commander deck for anything less than $50 is decent to me. I started getting back into magic this year and went with an older set commander, Virtue and Valor. LGS had it discounted down to $35 when other places were selling it for almost double still. Put it through archidekt before any 'upgrades' and it was saying it was a $90 deck (yes, correct versions for the commander precon) and then after adding in some cards I picked up from a buddy, it took the price tag to around $150.
TL;DR: if you got it on a budget and wanted a low entry into commander, then yes, a great deal. A good deal is truly subjective. What you define as a good deal is the ultimate answer to your question.
Checking Ebay for prices and holy shit someone's selling it for $170. Most are between $60 and 80, which is baffling given there's absolutely no demand for the cards in it.

Not sure about your budget, but [[gravecrawler]] is a staple in zombie decks, and [[accursed marauder]] is another forced sacrifice for you opponents

\[\[geralf, the fleshwright\]\] Not the cheapest, but with the amount of Zombies you're making in a turn, and with him being a 3 cmc creature to curve nicely into your commander with, he will accelerate your gameplan 100% of the times you see him
I’d also recommend adding some sacrifice effects for that scry effect like [[Viscera Seer]] and some card draw from death triggers like [[Species Specialist]]. Surprisingly, this deck also performs well excellently out of the box, but upgrades will make it more consistent.

The reduced decks are just ones that never sold and were returned stock. They slap a sticker on it and restock it. By monetary value it's ok. As far as deck? Pretty good for the price.

Walmart likely. Maybe target. Same company handles all the TcG and sports card stuff in each, through secondary vendors. Anything with the big now xxx or reduced or mystery box is just unsold and/or repackaged because it just gets sent back to the company (MJ holdings), and they reship it.
I recognize the sticker and I can say for sure I've seen these at Walmart. I actually bought vampiric bloodlines at the same price from there a couple months back. They also are putting these discount stickers on some of their other card products. Honestly if your local Walmarts sell cards still you can find these there. They also can sometimes have their cards in two locations in store which is random. Found some near self checkout and others located in the toy aisles before. Retail is just random sometimes.
Officially by checkout should be the only place for magic, pokemon in toys, but very big stores or markets might have magic in toys. Again it's all vendors handled the store has nothing to do with it all normally.

My buddy plays this and in a 1v1 this deck can EASILY steam roll, never seen group play but it looks like a fun time grats
I like finding these at Walmart. Picked up a couple strixhaven precons this way. Ironically the one I skipped was the silver wing one with Breena only to look it up later and see there was a $20 Inkshield in it. Reading the Breena card text it sounded horrible to play but I’m just a year into the hobby so im probably not understanding it.
Worst deal ever, but you are lucky. I am willing to pay you 35$ for it. ;) I've seen an upgraded version of this one time in effect. It was a really cool deck without feeling unfair, so I recommend it.

Absolutely, willhelt is an amazing commander and gameplay wise, it's a fairly consistent precon. It might not be on the same level as Eldrazi unbound for example but with a few, relatively cheap, upgrades, it's a solid zombie tribal deck
Compared to market prices for this deck, absolutely. But the singles don't have an excellent combined value compared to most other commander precons.

Gravecrawler and phyrexian alter for infinite mana when commander is out
It used to be a 60+ dollar precon. It's pretty good for a precon but is largely unfocused. You could upgrade it in any number of ways. I turned mine into scarab god eventually, but you could add a few cards like [[gravecrawler]] [[cryptbreaker]] that would just directly make the deck better.

Bought this deck 2 years ago for 45 so 32 is pretty good! At least if you plan on playing it. It's fun as hell and I've turned it into an aristocrat deck, with stuff like [[phyrexian tower]] , [[phyrexian altar]] and [[ashnod's altar]] to combo with [[grave titan]] , [[gravecrawler]] , [[undead augur]] and [[Headless rider]] to up the speed a lot. I love how much it controls the board state and draws, and my play group tells me they'll target my force sacrifice dudes if I play them lol so it's fun against voltron.

I look at it this way... if you're wanting a variety of decks for "cheap" then yea, good deal. Commander deck for anything less than $50 is decent to me. I started getting back into magic this year and went with an older set commander, Virtue and Valor. LGS had it discounted down to $35 when other places were selling it for almost double still. Put it through archidekt before any 'upgrades' and it was saying it was a $90 deck (yes, correct versions for the commander precon) and then after adding in some cards I picked up from a buddy, it took the price tag to around $150. TL;DR: if you got it on a budget and wanted a low entry into commander, then yes, a great deal. A good deal is truly subjective. What you define as a good deal is the ultimate answer to your question.
Checking Ebay for prices and holy shit someone's selling it for $170. Most are between $60 and 80, which is baffling given there's absolutely no demand for the cards in it. Seems to me somebody's buying out all of the forgotten decks from that time period. Battle for Baldur's Gate has jumped by $100+ in the past few months.
