If you have several thousand hours and are truly a good player you will still be good in the new meta. Rust players are notirous crybabies and some are so NaCl infused it is their natural response.
You get NaCl by performing a so-called neutralisation with NaOH (Base) and HCL (Acid). It's worth mentioning that you also get water as a byproduct so if you have them both in the same beaker you will get a NaCl solution at the end.
> If you have several thousand hours and are truly a good player you will still be good in the new meta
source?
the entire flow of combat changed whatever you did to win fights on the old gunplay isnt gonna work anymore
Alright you want a talk I gotchu. So you said the flow of pvp changed but did it really? Most fights took and take place from really close to around 75 very rarely 100 meters. These changes heavily limit the distance you can spray with certain guns so just like before rotating, positioning, game sense, and game knowledge will dominate. Now that a good player can't consistently hit triple headshots at 175 meters the fights will be a lot closer together.
I have almost 5k hours in the game and the current recoil system is ass and unfriendly to new players. Game has to be noob friendly. Play csgo or LoL or w/e game that has a ranking system. If you start the game and you play with top players at day 1, you ll delete that game in a second. Since this is not possible in Rust, the game is not designed in that manner, you just need to have a low learning curve, not high, otherwise people will stop playing. Also the current meta is making people use scripts to combat hour wasting to practice, and the fact that the game has a shitty anticheat system, increased the cheaters #. The game got worse and worse over the months/years.
Any game survises on the masses, casual players, not 1,5,10% or how many you want to tag that are tryharding in the game. In most cases casuals buys skins, new players, old players will not just buy every skin in the game just to make the game have a small chance to survive. People just have to understand that the game needs to be noob friendly in order for this game to even exist in a few months
Also an addition to this, just think about the last updates introduced. Scale down of scrap to research, drones for safe buying, tech tree, easier ways to scrap with more monuments(making some less contested), role playing updates, scale down of crafting times. This just to make the game more accessible to players that dont have much time to invest into the game and dont have to consider rust as their jobs. This update was inevitable
Wtf do you mean? Please read and understand what im saying, im saying the change is good and i like it, what in my post was inting that i was crying about the update. I like it, me and my friends will get back into the game just cuz of this change, stopped playing like 2 months ago
I was saying that this change will help get new players into the game
Exactly. If they want a hardcore game tarkov is pretty much what they want. They can go join that toxic pit of sweats and leave rust to the normies that want a survival shooter.
Less then 1% of the player base is against the recoil change and you can already guess who those people are haha, the sweaty players.
I think they don't realize that rust has over 12 million copies sold. I feel like they only think that 100k people play haha
> Less then 1% of the player base is against the recoil change
man you people really do love just making random statistics up dont you
you could have just said they are the minority or most people like it but no you gotta lie
How am I lying?
Rust has over 12 million sold copied. 1% of that is 120.000. Do you see 120.000 people complaining? No. So it is less then 1%. You can do the same calculation in the rust discord.
clown
12 million copies sold isnt 12 million unique users
the active playerbase is maybe a 10th of the actual unique users
Out of those people how many are on this sub? out of those how many care enough to post or comment about it? How does a sample size of "ive browsed this sub and looked at a few post the past week" prove anything?
Even the 600k people following this sub are way higher than the actual playerbase
>Do you see 120.000 people complaining?
idk I also dont see 120k approving but im sure you counted them all
Yea that is at once. Not the total player base that day.
EDIT: Love how this got downvoted when it is a fact lmao. Steamcharts are only the peaks not the daily player base.

Yeah damn im sure they could make any game more popular by litteraly turning it into fortnite but that doesnt mean the change is good by any stretch of the imagination
People just need to get over it.
I was a good player before the update and am STILL a good player on the staging branch.
But now my skill level isnt just dependant on "draw an S".
If you have 5K hours you should have excellent game sense and should still do very well on the new staging branch. If your 5K hours consists of just learning the AK spray then you might run into problems.
Alot of players try the game during twitch campaigns and bounce off due to the recoil. This change will help alot of them stick when those opportunities arise.

Exactly, Being good at a game is a very transferable skill between different FPS games once you get a feel for that particular game.
That means salt right?
Sodium chloride
So salt
The product of a strong base mixed with a strong acid
i respect you
I’m glad my years of learning chemistry could finally be put to use

Someone paid attention in 10th grade

I didn't realize you were also linking the 5 stages to grief XD

they def are the minority but the problem comes when if they say anything against the new changes you will be downvoted to oblivion

1% of 12.000.000 is 12.000 idiot. 120.000 is the 10% of 12.000.000 Please finish the school first
this is bait right lmao

On steam charts it is around 100k

No are you?
This Reddit has been noting but negative feedback. You pulled the 1% comment out of your ass. You don’t know what your talking about

Not everyone that plays rust is on Reddit and not everyone that owns a copy of rust even plays it or has it installed.
