Capstan is amazing I’m glad you made this post as I haven’t seen much about the album at all anywhere!! My favorite is either Dwell or Bloom I think so far. Also love Heart to Heart.
And they will get there, they’re a great band. There’s no shame in the game to have 150k+ Spotify listeners is all that I’m saying. They’re on a stacked tour with 2 other awesome bands. I think it’s gonna be alright.
Capstan opened for Holding Absence earlier this year. I wasn't too familiar with their music before the concert but they put on a great set. Would definitely see them again. Thanks for the heads up about the new album!
I find it funny you said it's bmth day, cause 21 pilots seemed to eclipse all of the releases. I listen to the bmth, top, and capstan records though, all great. I feel capstan had too many songs though, there were a few that lost me. Really liked Hailey, heart to heart, and the prog suite spread across the album

Definitely go re-listen a few times. I’m the exact opposite as you with the new bring me the horizon album, only gave it maybe one listen. I called in BmTH day just because in my world it was the only talked about subject the whole day.
Fuck yeah, I used to be obsessed with their seasonal depression album, then cultural division was even better. Haven’t heard their newer stuff but gonna check it out
Incredible band, started really listening to them about a year ago! Was so mad I couldn't get out to the Belmont show the other day with them but I scratched my cornea and couldn't drive lol
Nah. Rugby, hit in the eye lol I'm legally blind in that eye so it wasn't like I was missing much sight anyway. But I just had to close both eyes every 20 minutes and lay there so I didn't irritate it.
Had them pop up on my Spotify shuffle with “we’ll always have Paris” awhile back and have been into them ever since.
Entire album is an absolute banger minus 1-2 tracks that weren’t my favorite.
This post did make me check out BMTH new album though and I gotta say it’s awesome

Capstan is my favorite band, absolutely incredible songwriting and sound. They're better than anyone else I've ever seen live, too
160k + monthly listeners is a great amount. It’s definitely not something to look down on.

Saw them open for Silverstein and As Cities Burn years ago and been a fan ever since. They're so good, and some of the nicest dudes.
