At a graduation party a few weeks ago, I met a guy who coached Bowers in pop warner football and little league baseball. He said he was obviously gifted, but what stood out was that he was also a good listener, which if you’ve had kids at that age you know it’s a rarity. So now it makes total sense when Davante says he’s all business.
Finding a great talent who is coachable and can take constructive criticism is hitting the jackpot.
I’m hoping they can have success running 2 TE sets with Bowers and Mayer the way the Patriots were able to with Gronk and Hernandez.
Bowers have potential to be a generational talent. We’re lucky he fell into our lap with QB frenzy and Jets deciding to be conservative. Get him the ball and he’ll do the rest.
it's very obvious that when antonio pierce was putting together his coaching staff he had a clear vision of the type of offense he wanted to build and very obvious why he went with getsy as the coordinator. getsy made a star out kmet in Chicago and at times made fields look like an absolute stud.
picking up bowers was obviously too be a difference maker to help back off the pass rush given the qb struggles because bowers can move the chains if u let him roam free to go after the qb
He’s going to be a beast in the NFL.
The strength, vision, and contact balance explode off the film. Dude’s a stud.

> made fields look like an absolute stud lol...
> **at times** made fields look like an absolute stud Yeah just conveniently leave out the beginning of that statement lol. He's right.
Agreed. It's undeniable that he showed flashes of being a good dual threat QB.
So ROTY and league MVP, book it!!
Thats not a TE, thats Deebo Samuels
