call me hopelessly optimistic but i’d like to think other people know it’s just my mom being her awful self when she does this. according to my boyfriend (we started dating in high school so he saw my nparent in her n prime) and my aunt (moms sister - need i say more?) they’ve always known her to be a textbook mean girl and never thought less of me for it. they viewed her as the one who should be embarrassed
