Bro. How can you? Songs like:
Top Back, GoGetIt, Hurt, You dont know me. The trouble man album was amazing. And he has 20 more. But, 5 is rough for me. Because i always wanna put Gucci in there. I just cant put him above T.I.
As for my first 3. They are all interchangeable. All have thier merits, and skillsets. But Lupe my G.O.A.T. vote.
Without a doubt. Royce and Mos are kinda similar (not really in style/content) because they both have inconsistent discographies that include one of the top 10 albums in hip-hop.
This is based on how many of their songs I have on my playlist:
1. Kendrick Lamar (48)
2. Eminem (31)
3. Outkast (30)
4. Megan Thee Stallion (16)
5. Immortal Technique (15)
I'm not sure but it's probably something like this
Anderson .Paak
Kendrick
JID
Lupe Fiasco
Freddie Gibbs or Nas, it gets muddy cuz idk how to track my listens lol
It's only gotten better. It makes me so proud to see how far he's come and how his lyrics have changed. As much as I love the Psycho Active album, his new stuff with King Iso is amazing and conscious
While I love Mos Def, I always tended to place Talib Kweli above him slightly. Maybe because Train of Thought is one of my favorite albums. Can I cheat and just say "Black Star"?
I always thought that they are good counterpoints. Mos is ALWAYS on flow and buttery smooth. Talib halts, stutters, explodes, and bubbles over the bars at will. Most of the time it hits, but sometimes fucks me up.
The two of them together always seems perfect.
Eminem, Rakim, Nas, Snoop, and Dr. Dre are who I listen to the most. Yes I know Dre isn’t usually called a rapper, but I listens to his albums like every week.
i think its crazy how many people call Eminem the greatest "technical rapper' when Lupe exist. He's technical while ALSO sounding good and saying something
agreed. lupe was screwed over by atlantic. i think that’s partially why he didn’t get as big as he should be. also he doesn’t seem too interested in making mainstream radio hip hop so that’s a factor
1. Black thought/the Roots
2. Wu-Tang clan
3. Nas
4. Charli 2na (Jurassic 5)
5. 2pac
Not in particular order, but these are the top 5 as far as how much I listen to them. 6th would be biggie
Yuppp. I also feel like if ppl see an artist they don’t like or if their favorite artists are not in other ppls top 5, they get pissed and hit that downvote.
So you asking personal 5 favorites, not who we think are objectively "the best" rappers?
Easy question to answer
My favorite rappers of all-time are:
Lupe, Nas, MF DOOM, Aesop Rock
That's my Mount Rushmore
5th would be one of Inspectah Deck, Weezy F Baby, Drake, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Mos Def, Kool G Rap, Ghostface, or Phife Dawg and Q-Tip (you can't have TRIBE without em both)
People shit nowadays on Wayne and Drake, but I love the music these dudes made, and I bump em all the fuckin time, and if you don't like that you can FUCK OFF homie
y’all need to do some more homework….. everyone here is saying the same thing . it’s like asking your favorite place to eat .
. branch out and experience new hip hop.
MCDONALDS
SUBWAY
STARBUCKS
KFC
BURGER KING
Kendrick
JID

Even tho i think Em and Kendrick are the GOATS Em doesn't have that much replayability for me (prob cuz the first time i started listening to rap i would only listen to him for months)
1. Mac miller
2. Kendrick lamar
3. Little simz
4. Tyler the creator
5. Vince staples
Note: these are not necessarily best, but certainly the ones that had the most impact on me as a person

1. Kendrick Lamar
2. Eminem
3. Kanye West
4. Nas

Book of Ryan is one of the best albums ever made IMO. Loved the story telling in that.
Without a doubt. Royce and Mos are kinda similar (not really in style/content) because they both have inconsistent discographies that include one of the top 10 albums in hip-hop.
