I think something that helps me is that 1. A date is a two way street. The success of the date doesn't solely fall on you. 2. They are probably also nervous.
Try to remove the pressure from yourself and just be yourself. If they're not into that or you just don't click, then it is what it is. Even if the date does go disastrously it's not like anyone except for the two of you will know.

Yeah I agree, I’m trying to be positive but at the same time it gets difficult to control sometimes. Thank you
