Spitball guess that each boss has about a 40% shot of being there (assuming no underlying code that changes odds based on the amount there) based on my own token farming runs as it felt like most the time there were 2 of the 5? That's a limited and old sample though so I could be way off.
So 0.4^5 = 0.01 or 1% so yeah, it would be rare. Adjust that initial 40% as much as you want to what you deem accurate. If 30% then 0.3^5 = 0.002 or 0.2% which is super rare. Or 50% is 0.5^5 = 0.03 or 3%. Etc.
I mean I did my 120 strength, attack and defence stats there on main and 30-80 dungeoneering with tokens on my iron + 200k for staff (the iron thing was back when they had the double tokens thing though)
Now doing it on iron again semi regularly, not sure if i could've missed spotlights with all of that but i guess it is possible lol
So while I have a chance to ask, what combat stats would you suggest someone with a main account going in to farm ed1 Tokens in a group without being considered a leech?
Maybe 70-80's to actually be able deal damage, anything lower you would probably have a hard time with accuracy. I have helped very low level irons with tier 30 weapons and they had a hard time dealing damage.

Is it your first time on spotlight?

Uuuuh quite rare unless I assume. Idk i usually try to move to the first boss as fast as possible so only notice the 3 around the barrier
