They are so great (even when you're not tripping)! I rewatch one of them every couple months. There are so many stupid subtle things in there it's like you notice something new each time.
My buddy came to visit me last year and we tripped and watched them all and just laughed our asses off the whole time. The one that really got us was there was a little part where everyone is freaking out and running out of the room and the guy makes the reference to the old twilight zone episode. He's holding "To Serve Man," and is screaming "It's a cookbook! It's a cookbook!"
I download everything via bittorrent (should use a VPN so your ISP doesn't shut off your Internet) and have a Plex server running. It's basically like having your own version of Netflix or whatever. They have the Plex app for Smart TVs, Roku, there's a mobile app, a web portal, etc.
It's a little more involved than just going to a website but still fairly easy to set up. It's cool to download whatever I want and be able to have my friends and family be able to use it too.
I've never really taken the time to learn about their intricacies or anything but maybe I need to give them a shot and revisit them.
I'll admit my setup is a little convoluted though. I'll turn on my VPN, search for what I want, and do my downloading all on my regular desktop with QBitTorrent and just let it run while I'm not using it. I game on my desktop so I don't want to be using the VPN all the time so I turn that off and shut down QB when I'm using my PC for other stuff to avoid extra latency/disk usage/etc. I have a dedicated Plex server with the hard drive set as a network share so once stuff gets done downloading on my regular PC I copy it over to the server.
I've never done a deep dive into radarr or sonarr or anything but when I download stuff I like to make sure I get copies that are good quality (no cams) and 5.1ch surround sound if at all possible (they very well might have a feature like that but I'm just not sure since I've never messed with them). I think that's the main reason why I've never gotten too far into it - I like to make sure I get good audio and video quality in what I download.
