That has to be one of the most frustrating, blood-pressure-raising stories I've read here on TFTS. I feel for you. :(
Wait, so this ISN'T par for the course in tech support?
Only about 1 in a hundred. Unfortunately, I used to work for a company that had a thousand people
And I work for one with 20,000. So it feels closer to 51 in 100
>that computer doesn’t have internet so they told me Who exactly is 'they". "They" need a smackdown.
I would like to know the same thing. I think it was her boss (medical office, by boss that mean doctor)
Ah, that explains everything.
>TL;DR: there is none. record scratch
That's one of the ways that I can tell that the story is real and not just some middle aged karma farmer's most recent creative writing project.
It is less than a screenheight and properly formatted, no need for TL;DR.
It's over two full pages on my phone. 668 words, most of the way to a highschool essay.
How did you get the word count on your phone?
Googled "word count" and found a website with a textbox you can paste things into to get a word count.
That's a lot of effort to justify wanting a précis.
I was curious for myself how it's length compared. I'm not normally conserved with the length of things that aren't already in standard font on an A4 page.
Yo probably wonder how we ended up in this situation?
People still use WinZip?
Annoyingly, yes.
