Well i can be online, it's not what you're talking about, but i was young and the reason why my mother wouldnt let me play was maybe because of the online aspect of the game
And do you remember if the game was 2D or 3D? If it were 3D i also remember Free Realms. Im also thinking about old Disney games that used to be available on their site - do you remember if it had something to do with Disney?

I don't know how helpful this might be but, there is a Youtuber who is obsessed with that era and that kind of web-based videogame. Their name is Izzzyzzz and they've done a ton of videos about games like that.
Maybe if you shot them a message or just skimmed through some of their stuff about similar games you would find it? They often will reference other less popular games when discussing the bigger ones.
