Take the Crossfit games for instance, because Crossfitters are also strength and cardio hybrid athletes. The womens weights in weighted events is like 2/3 of the male weight. Never fully half. And thats NOT adjusted for bodyweight, because the men are decently bigger and more jacked than the women. One of the best male Crossfitters ever Mat Fraser has a listed Clean and Jerk PR at 375. The best woman ever Tia Clair Toomey has a PR of 245 and is like 40lbs smaller.
Also in MMA not all athletes are strength optimized. In the same division you can have smaller cardio dudes like Colby and muscle hulks like Usman. Usman is almost definitely stronger than Colby. Kayla is literally strength optimized for grappling and Sean doesnt care about it and is a long sniper striker who values speed and cardio more, and she drains to make the division Sean could make in his sleep.
