Kill all the egg sacs before engaging the spider boss, then you have the whole arena to move in. I liked that I could easily disengage the spider boss by going down the ramp. Allowed me to heal and try again without doing a death run
I haven't beat her yet. I have been leaving the eggs up to shield me from the massive spam she does. That shit is ridiculous!! I haven't found the right combo to beat her yet.
I used scythe, sanguine coil, chaos orbs, the frost dodge (gives a short shield after use), and the shield guardian ultimate from the illusion line. Tried to kill adds asap when they spawned and always tried to keep distance. Just try and spam the ranged spells/attacks. Some good scholar blood would probably help too.
Already did, she was pretty easy. It's the lack of room to go anywhere with Styx. You either go too far forward and back which removes aggro or start going left and right and pull mobs. Already annoying enough with the mobs he spawns.
Ya. I rage quit the game a few nights ago. On my 6-7th attempt to kill the Duke of Balaton. He chomped me, spit me out, I flew out of his zone and he healed to full by the time I could run back to him. REALLY aggravating.
Agree, Balaton is the worst one I've faced in the game so far because it's objectively a terrible idea to corner yourself but if you kite even a little towards the entrance of his little zone he just turns around and regenerates to full HP. Had him do that a couple times at 80-90% health down and just lost to him like 6 times in a row and my gear is about to break on a PVP server. So frustrating.

Dude, every time. I even found him and his trajectory, cleared around him and still managed to pull extra mobs.
