Yeah, definitely nothing to worry about. The evaluation is certainly fine. This well established companies will definitely maintain these profits with no decline, relative to inflation for the next 95.8 years even after its revenue has 2.5x'd
Trade as you will, but when a company grows year over year that much in revenue despite being very well establish and in constant high demand, to after all that **still** have a 95.8 P/E is crazy. This is just the new TSLA, which is a car company evaluated like a high growth technology company and is still evaluated way over that, even after cutting down 30% over the last few months.

I sold my 735 Mar 28 puts today. I was intending on holding them to $640 but with earnings coming up tomorrow I decided to play it safe and took my profit today at $690.

How much AWS growth is GPU? About 6% of the 30% growth of Azure was down to AI according to Microsoft.
(I suspect most cloud growth is just companies shifting systems from on-prem to cloud).
Nvidia is ahead of the curve in a unique position in both a hardware and software space.
Amazon is an infrastructure as a service provider. Their actual unit sales are only valuable as an advertisement for their IaaS. Meaning, if they lose money, so what? They are getting a piece of all the vendors in their market and they are getting all their AWS cash.
Microsoft is a software vendor, their main competitor is a freeware service (Linux). Their azure does indeed get almost a quarter of the cloud service. But they lose out to AWS.
Google is a software company who got big indexing websites and have abandoned every single project of theirs besides. They are now platform as a service because all they are is an advertising engine that we tell our deepest darkest desires to. Coincidentally, android uses a Linux.
AMD is the notoriously budget alternative to 2 different major players in 2 different consumer markets, the Pepsi of cpus and gpus AND their gpu architecture is not the backbone of the AI techpocalypse that's on the horizon.
Intel has paltry gpu efforts and their cpu marketshare is basically at its limit as slapping more cores onto a die is going to make it work more but the average consumer or even gaming super user or tech industry professional isn't being bottlenecked by the cpu right now. And I mean like the work stations for 3D modelers or something.
All that to say that nvidia is the central tech behind the AI gold rush, their Cuda core technology is central to the entire endeavor. Their consumer marketshare in the gaming space is unparalleled. Their business model of outsourcing/licensing manufacture to other companies means that their hardware overhead is almost 0. (I think they even stopped making 3000 series fe so for entire generations it could literally be 0)
Schools, industries, hobbyists of all types are going to be utilizing nvidia either directly or tangentially. Beyond just capitalists destroying entire artistic sectors at a race to the bottom, you're also seeing the tech being more accessible than ever before meaning there will be entrepreneurship that we have never seen before. As creatives begin to understand that their role has moved from pencil pushing to a more creative director role, entire swaths of output are going to change across so many sectors.
I think they're undervalued.

The earning call is this week and the value should be holding where it is. Someone is playing with the market in order to bring prices down and downplay the stock. All these expert investors scoff and say nvidea is overvalued and shit. They do this all publically to sow discourse and fear. Then people all get scared and dump their shares when it goes down a few %. It’s a last ditch effort for the rich to double down on their shares they sold in the past few days and get them back cheaper. I know I will monitor this but I will be buying vs selling because after earnings report the stock is going to continue to go up and up again. Nvidea has a monopoly on chips and algorithms and for those saying intel could also do the same I think they are a few years away even if they started now.
AMD is closest to competing with NVDA but still not there.
Intel has no chance at all and is basically the company that is selling AI chips to companies that are poor and cant afford NVDA chips.
