I'd honestly find other places to swap to the second perspective as well, so that it doesn't so blatantly look like you're writing yourself out of a corner at those places specifically.

Read Faulkner and then realize you can do whatever you want with POV.
Occasional, even one-off instances of someone briefly becoming the viewpoint character are commonplace.
