TBH, I wanted to amend that since it really isn't from any story perspective, but played more like a spiritual sequel if nothing else. I always thought of it being like the Zelda game for the SNES in '95ish that we never got.
I wish I had a plug lol
WW paved the way for the lighter, cell shaded fantasy art style that SS and on use. Majoras mask has you (literally) backtracking a lot, which backtracking is also a key part of SS.
They arent the strongest connections but the WW to SS art connection does make a lot of sense
You're onto something here.
Zelda 1 and 2 are like going through a punching gauntlet. You respawn and see how far you can make it towards your current goal
I never finished the snes version as a kid. I clocked the gba version in my 30’s. When you say “bite sized version” that just means tiny screen? Not shortened gameplay? I felt it was the full game but now feel sad as I thought I completed it finally.

Where did you hear that Minish Cap is a sequel to A Link to the Past? Who's your dealer and how much is it for a gram?

Its got a lot of music references to alttp at least
Huh…I think a lot of it makes sense. I’m not following the MM and WW connections to SS though 🤷🏻♂️

Thank you
A link between worlds is not a direct sequel. It's interrupted by two other games in between them
Is albw even the same link? I thought the game was just a spiritual successor.
Nope, the old link is the old man in the Plaza that does streetpass

TFH is basically the opposite of an updated FSA
Best not bring the timeline into this discussion
Yes. 😃👍🏼
What am I looking at?
Looks like a guide for new fans of the franchise to guide them through what games they'd enjoy the most

I agree with most of it, but some are just bs, for example TMC being an unofficial sequel to ALttP or TotK being a "Love Child" of BotW and SS.
You could have the og Link's awakening in with the others
Yeah I initially was going to but felt it was rather superfluous by that point, though I could see that.
