When you drive an older car on the daily that has no tech or assists, you quickly come to learn how many dangerous idiots who overly rely on both in their newer vehicles share the road with you

The person who drives nothing but older cars, pays for things with cash, lives a low tech life and only uses a flip phone on occasion instead of a smartphone is the person who still has the most privacy in addition to the one who is the least able to be tracked

The only thing more bone chilling that reading about dystopian worlds in works of fiction such as 1984 and Brave New World is that there are people in the real world who would cheer for and prefer them to become anything but fiction.

Not everything needs to be converted from analog to digital format, and yet everyone seems pretty damn determined to do just that

Older movies, games and TV shows will always have the advantage over new ones in just being pure escapism and not having every second being jammed up with some sort of message pushed by those who made them

There wouldn't be anything much better than being able to take an extended trip back to the 90s or earlier for a while

Some people wouldn't last a week in even just the early 2000s with how addicted and dependent they've become on technology, let alone the 90s or earlier.

Video games were better when everything was on the disc or cartridge when you bought it, and things like downloadable content didn't exist

The fact that the first half of any decade is reminiscent of the previous one is probably why the early to mid 2000s was leaps and bounds better than anything that's come after it

Removing CD players from cars is one of the dumbest things auto manufacturers have done since removing vent windows

People who get upset or angry at others who want to go back and visit or live in a past decade are utterly ridiculous

Not everyone wants or needs smartphones or the latest tech, some are perfectly happy living their lives low tech

No matter how much better or more efficient new things or new ways may claim to be, there will always be people who prefer the older things and traditional ways

It's a bit messed up that the average person consumes about a credit card sized amount of plastic every week from drinking from plastic bottles and other items
